Oh yes, there are real stadiums, elsewhere.

There was one in Lyon, for instance.

You know, the one they were totally unable to fill.

I couldn't give a shit about how full the stadium is, I live at the bottom of the world. I just want to see a world class track worthy of these guys talents and some close racing.

Thats not true though, they have multiple soccer stadiums and even a cricket stadium. These are even bigger fields than American football.

Also the ppl saying they didnt have big enough crowds in the large stadium, a supercross race thats going to be on tv needs good racing. The product on the track should come first as a priority over how full the crowd looks. As it looks now this is almost worse than an arenacross because at least in AX theres places to pass. These guys are really jacking this series up bad, this isnt a good look for the first race back of the “new and improved wsx.”

Track/racing like that....it diminishes Kens stature in the sport.   This arenacross garbage is beneath him.

I could be interviewing Adam and the two (new) investors tomorrow. Any questions?

What was the strategy around changing commentary teams mid season? The commentators are the mermaids of the ship so to speak, so why risk further disruption and innuendo surrounding the health and direction of the series by doing this?

Matt Moss wins Superpole, 0.4 faster than Wilson, Roczen misses out. @Old Mate must be dancing!

How? Think of him as an ambassador. A taste of Supercross in a country that would otherwise never see it. I think it’s damn cool they have the funding to send Kenny. I sure as shit would love to see him in the part of the world I live. Even for the money, he doesn’t need to go. Kenny has stepped up to the plate all year. Your comment diminishes your stature on this forum.

The lack of overtaking opportunities is a big issue but even single-lap Superpole wasn't really much of a spectacle. No alternative lines or rhythms and the whole thing was decided on whether riders got hung up threading the needle through a ridiculously tight chicane.

Whatever value there was in the brand WSX before this event is gone after this. They've completely destroyed it and it's a shame for the fans, riders and teams.

Adam Bailey literally said in previous interviews that they have cancelled venues/rounds because the risk that the event wouldn't be up to standard, and then they bring out a 85cc AX track after MONTHS of waiting.

Doors weren’t open for heats and practice, crowds in now for night show, starts now

really cringe at these tiny weak tracks. If they're going to be carrying the FIM branding there should be a minimum track standard that has to be met. Screams travelling side show. Not good for the sport imo

I was hoping with everything in me as a Aussie that this would be good but I have to agree with you. The track is just crap again and one lined. I feel for the riders who just want to race a proper track.

imagine what someone like chad reed would say about this event if he wasn't on the payroll lol.

one lined

not a recognised championship

Dangerous for the riders!

I can literally picture him just going off lol

Funny you say that. There is a minimum/maximum length for MXGP. I wonder why there isn't a guideline for supercross?

Very early days, there probably wasn't a guideline when mxgp first started either. These tracks are embarrassing though
