Some of y’all’s hate of DF is crazy. Dude shows more grit than most Americans and y’all don’t like him because he is French?

Weege from Racerhead this week:

I discovered quite a bit about this Ferrandis situation. Yes, this is a Phoenix Honda deal, and it’s not, for example, Honda HRC building Dylan a works bike and rolling it under the Phoenix tent. But, it appears the team’s technical efforts have been bolstered by Rick “Ziggy” Zielfelder from Factory Connection, the co-founder and co-owner of the old GEICO Honda team, as Davey mentioned. Ziggy wants back in the game, Dylan trusts Ziggy, and Ziggy and FC have some tricks up their sleeve. Maybe this team will have a little of the old Kevin Windham/Mike LaRocco 450 Honda vibe to it? Plus, Phoenix does have communication with the factory team, so between Honda’s guidance, the team’s own resources, plus Factory Connection, there seem to be no doubts they can build a bike that can win races with a rider like Ferrandis. What I like is that this isn’t Eller just opening the check book and giving Dylan an offer he can’t refuse. We’ve seen private teams try things like that and it rarely works. This is Dylan willing to forgo a big salary to get on a bike and team he likes and betting on himself to make money in bonuses, plus, remind the industry of his value going forward. Dylan thinks the Honda is the bike he needs, and he thinks Phoenix and Factory Connection can build it right, even if it’s not the full factory machine.

Sounds like that team is about to take a huge leap forward with Ziggy more onboard.

Gee, and I thought Rick was still enjoying those lovely New Hampshire winters. Happy to see Dylan got a ride.

Anybody know if Phoenix Honda gets factory support? If they don't and Dylan starts getting podiums they will get it

They absolutely do and in 2025 they will be the new Factory Connection AMSOIL Geico Honda team!

Sounds like they’ll get some guidance and technical support but not parts

Would this be a SX only deal as PHX doesn’t do outdoors? Be a shame to not see Dylan give mx another shot

That's not what is being discussed.

I posted about it before the news dropped, got a bunch of down votes.

Yes, Musquin is just the same, for instance.

Pretty sure this was Southwick. The same place showing insane hate towards Stewart for being black, then Musquin getting flipped off. Then Red Bud had some real winners giving Musquin the finger right to his face while he was shaking hands with fans on the fence. I just don't get the true idiotic hate people display at times.

I love how straight forward Dylan is. “I thought you didn’t like me” 😭😭😭

Ouch, this kinda no BS attitude may not make some friends but that makes me think he is flying with the Lawrence's. I bet there will be a lot of red upfront in '24, I think they will be the strongest team again. Maybe a manufacturer championship should be added.

Manufacturer Championship has existed for a number of years now.

They have them for both classes, but here are the 2023 450 results for SX, MX, and SMX.

What’s the concern level with running Pirelli tyres for supercross?

His comments on Thor were great, love his honesty. I would feel the same way.
