I know ol' Stewie has got some serious verbal thrashings on here the last couple days. But i wanted to see if anyone heard about what kind of damage his ribs took? Just bruised , Broken , separated ?? I know that was a seriously stupid move he did Saturday night , but still , how are his ribs doing....any word?
I've also been wondering how banged up he is. He looked pretty torn up after his first wreck.

I have broke and separated my ribs and sternum a few times.......it's about 6 weeks of hell trying to breath.......don't even think of coughing or sneezing.UUHHGGG!! I can't see how he could possibly ride if they were broke though. A good impact with broken ribs can puncture a lung.
P
During the broadcast, it was said that he'd been cleared by the docs as not having any broken bones...more smoke and mirrors?
And if he's so concerned about not letting other riders know he's hurt, what was up with the whole drama scene of walking in pain for the cameras while turning down a ride back to the pits in the mule. If he wanted to hide an injury, hop in the freaking mule.
Strange folks on that team.
Hopefully he'll be fine the rest of the way.
its all about the mental fortitude.these racers do not want pain to distract them.
They say his injury comes from the Sand-Section of the Track.
I'm jus' sayin'...
We probably won't find out what the real deal is. I can't imagine he came out of that crash with Partridge unscathed.
Pit Row
It's a joke.
And if you've ever broken or fractured your ribs, you know that it hurts just sitting upright in a chair and trying to get a full breath.
Probably bruised his ribs. Maybe some muscle damage. Curious that he was limping along and then doubled over as soon as the camera moved in.
One other thing here : i know james was probably in some serious pain. I don't think he was hamming it up though. I have been in certain situations after some hard wrecks , where the last thing i wanted to do as get carried off by the medic mule. I usually tried to "walk it off" , which i think is exactly what James was trying to do. Sometimes riding on that mule can be more painful than just taking your time and walking back slowly depending on the injury. Like i said , i have been in situations like that and it sucks either way.
