Ok, I haven't watched the whole race yet, but my kids showed me the JS7, Partridge incident. Why hasn't JS7 been fined or suspendedfor this incident? I can't tell you how many times I have seen him do this. He crosses 2-3 lines over a triple with no regard to anyone's safety and he take both himself and KP out. When JS7 is out front or close to the front, he is fine, but when he has to come through the pack, he is dangerous!
He sits and complains about other peoples riding, but he really just needs to look in the mirror.
I am really tiring of his BS antics.

So insightful, it blows my mind! Wow, are you the window licker on the short bus or what?

Don't think the corner incident was his or Reeds fault.. the other riders cut the corner short -- reedy had nowhere to go (other than T-boning JS7).

No excuse for drifting over on Partridge, or acting like a 3-year old at the Kawasaki rig.

I've not seen the CR incident yet, so I am not even talking about that. The only 30 seconds of the race I have seen is where bonehead(JS7) jumps across the track.

Yeah, I dont understand how the AMA can even think of fining and suspending Reed when James has repeatedly crossed in rider's lines in the air and now goes to other teams pits and kicks bikes over. James thinks its his track and everyone else is on it. AMA should force James to submit a written apology to Partridge, pay a fine and get a 1 year probabtion for his dangerous riding. If it occurs again then another fine but with an added 1 race suspension.

I wrote this in another post, but if this was NASCAR, James would have been given a $100,000+ fine for his actions on Saturday night. The AMA needs to get the sand out of their pussies and man up on the penalities

Yeah but it happens to Stewart a lot. He just seems to forget that there's other riders at the track. I think Tedesco has some good memories of a similar situation as well ..

I don't think he forgot anything. James rides all out and he's trying to make moves at the beginning of a race. He's done it for YEARS and come out ok, this time he made a decision that didn't work out. That's racing and it happens to everyone, it just so happens that the Pros are jumping much higher and going much faster than everyone else and stuff happens at a much faster pace than normal.

People seem to love James for going 100% and taking a chance to win, but when something happens the whole world comes down on him. I saw it as just a racing mistake. Maybe you or I wouldn't have done it, but we aren't the fastest SX racer in the world either.

When our sport resorts to NASCAR's and it's corporoate sponsor's micro managing of each athlete's image (and it's own) I will be moving on.

How many stories have been written about how there are no Ricky Johnson/Bob Hannahs in today's sport and how each rider seems so cookie cutter? I thought everyone would be thrilled to see some of our athlete's (especially the marquee ones) show some personality. He kicked a bike over! Who cares? I can't wait to see them meet on the track again. You know it will happen. This is what everyone has been asking for. Enjoy it!

A 100,000 fine in motocross would be like a 10 million dollar fine in nascar because there only a few guys making big money.

I agree, everytime he passes for the lead, the next thing he does is cut the next guy off on the next triple. and its always a triple where there is the best chance of killing the guy chancing him.
Maybe he will think twice about doing it next time now that it finally backfired on him.

it was racing! yea im sure he wants to hit another rider mid air when that most likely will end up with both going down... with his speed he probably thought he had cleared him ...

He should draw a suspension for going in the Kawi pits.

Ya know, at some point this young man must get someone with some intelligence in his camp. One day, one of these "Go for Broke" moves is going to end a career.
When that happens, it's not going to be "just racing" is it.

Actually, it would be for the simple fact that sometimes racers don't walk away from crashes and not just in the Pro ranks. It would be great if "accidents" didn't happen because of human error, but that's why they are called accidents. MX/SX is dangerous...............

AMA needs to lighten up on the fines - did Bradshaw and Matiasevich get fined every time they block passed someone? No.

I wish more guys challenged Stewart like Reed or Villipoto at the USOpen.

Wasn't it Dale Earnheart that use to do some racing moves, one that even ended his carreer. James was trying to win the race and I am sure he did not purposely jump in front of another rider to have him land on him. Reed made a move whether it was force or not or on purpose or not that landed him a broken hand. Most riders if trying a take out move, don't try to land in front of another rider to have that rider jump on them with a 250lb bike.

As for kicking over the bike. I think James thought Reed did this on purpose, and while I understand his anger, it was unprofessional. But his actions were a statement against the bike. Had he hit Reed in a face to face confrontation, I would suspect fines and suspension. But then again, when other riders have done this, they get warnings first so I don't think the outcome for James was that unusual.

Let see how many people did take out... High profile ones that have been documented

Hes taken out Mike Brown at glen helen
Ricky at Unadilla
Tedesco in cananda
byrne and half the field at daytona
Partride at phoenix
Preston at a supercross

and countless others... I don't think these are aggressive takeouts.......They are just plain out and out disregard for anybody else but himself.....He needs a fine for the Partride incident. He needs a fine for the Kawi rig deal. He says on his website that he is worried when Chad is behind him.....lol .........Everybody is worried when he is behind them///

Also the times he got lucky this same thing didnt happen..

A1 this year when he crossed in front of Dungey.

Last year when he did it to Reed and got his neck grabbed his neck for it.

I know he wants to win bad, but jeeez dude, he is as dangerous as a C class rider on raceday.
