This is a Reed comment, but not BS about the crash.

I swear, charging for this board would get some rif raf off. I can't believe the posts I've seen the last couple of days. My dad can beat your dad up... Come on.

Anyways, regarding Chad. Being that my name is his name, I'll say I like Chad as a rider. That being said, watching him on the Suzuki last year at practice, I said, damn Chad is riding the best I have ever seen him ride. Riding the Kawi at Phoenix, I said, damn, this is the worst Chad has ever rode. Obviously bikes all are great, Not baggin on Kawi, Honda, Suzuki or Yam, Villi still got 2nd and assume he will win races etc. But Chad and Kawi look off... JMHO

I agree with post 100%..Especially about the my dad can whoop your dad posts.I actually commented about that crap last night. I said wow this thread has taken a sharp turn for the worse..lol

And about Reed on the green bike i agree too. I like you think the bikes are all pretty equal but some bikes just agree with certain riders better then others. That said I think the zooker and CR were a match made in heaven. From day one I felt CR looked better on the yellow bike then I've ever seen him look before and from day 1 on the Kawi I thought the exact opposite. I haven't seen him live on the thing yet but a picture (as they say) is worth a 1000 words.

What's funny is last year at Seattle when I finally got to see him live on the zooker he looked like crap. He struggled the whole day . From his 1st practice to the main event. So if history repeats itself he should look awesome on the green bike in Seattle this year.

I wil humbly disagree. Like was said Villo looked good. My opinion, not the bike so much as CR not adapting well, YET. Hopefully it won't take him too long.

Is the Kawi behind the Suzuki, or is the Suzuki team just a better team?....

well, as far as Chad goes. I think it is his riding style. The kawi is known for turning a little wider and had a longer feel. The Suz, cuts sharp, but alittle edgy when things get going fast. Some how Chad adapted fast to the cutting sharp part.

I think it's a little of both. When you have the goat developing and racing the bike for years and still testing and developing I'm sure it makes for one hell of a machine. And Roger D "The Man" running shit it makes for one hell of a team too.

I see Kawasaki having problems in house when you let go shop employee's with 30 yrs R&D and screw with other long time R&D mechanics to save a couple of bucks yes problems with bike set-up will happen.

Chad was a 2 Stroke rider who studied MC's cut down style... Chad has always preferred to cut down on berms... I also think this is the reason he struggled to adapt to the 450 as quickly as RC and Bubba... Chad went from killing it in 03-05 to off the pace bad when they moved to the 450s...

Suzuki also let go of two of their long time employees. I think that's more of the economy sucking though maybe.

Although they are not all finishing as well as Ryan look at the Suzuki's across the board. Morais looks great on the zook Ryan looks good on the zook Stroupe looks good on the Zook. Chad looked to be (arguably) the best we've ever seen him on the zook. All the Suzuki's seem to be making their riders look good. JMO

Gotta agree there, he did look good on the zook. I'm hoping it's just time on the bike and refining his setup and he'll be back to the Chad of old.

I think Villo looking good on the Kawi is more a testament to his ability and familiarity with the Kawi's. Byrne and Wey look pretty bad on them as well, which supports the unfamiliarity theory. The Kawi 450's are bucking and swapping in every whoop section where the Suzuki's look to be handling far better.

“We were racing hard and we were racing for a championship where every point counts, as we saw at the end of last season,” Reed explained.

“James went high and I saw an opportunity to pass and took it and we came together end of story. The main focus for me right now is to seek medical advice and understand what sort of injury my hand has sustained.

“That’s got to be the priority right now then once I know where I am at I will take a little time to reflect on what happened,” he added.

of course poto has had a year on that piece of crap, remember he struggled last year too. i blame it on that bike. i rode a friends 09 kawai 450 and wasnt impressed. it felt wide and didnt turn. i dont know how these little guys ride that thing. id love top see RV on a red or yellow bike and see how he does. id bet he would do better

Remember that they're also adapting to Dunlops as well.

Agreed that Chad has not looked good yet on Green. He struggled on it down under in his own series as well. Hopefully they will figure it out and we'll see some racing from him when his hand allows.
