You don't know much about Texas. Dallas isn't in Texas as far as the rest of us are concerned.

I agree, James came down on Reed and I'm neither a fan or hater of either. Look where the contact on Reed was, well behind his front wheel.

As far as Reed following James around, that just doesn't fly. Chad had a great chance to make up the points from A1 and no way he would intentionally give that up. Fact is he was off all night. Look at his heat race, he looked bad.
JP be soundin good.

Say what you want, Stewart knows what happened and that's why he went to the Kawi truck to kick Reed's ass. Too bad Reed locked himself in the motorhome...LOL!

Well chad knew james was taking the line he did and wanted to take that away. Unfourtunately they hit. So if people say james fucked up by bumping kdub then why aren't you guys saying the same about chad hitting james?

Man what would you be saying if it would have been Chad instead of Kyle Partridge? Would that have been Chads fault too?

You're talking about the wrong wreck. I can see how you'd get confused, there were plenty of them.

Bottom line, Reed rode directly behind Stewart for 5 laps in 11th place. Reed already had one DNF in the series, Stewart was hurt and was basically riding with one hand, Reed needed to get to the front or his season would be done, but he wouldn't pass. Finally they run into each other, Reed winds up hiding in his motorhome with a broken hand and two DNFs, Stewart paid for his dumbass move in the heat race by getting a 15th and going home with a hurt arm and shoulder but he can presumably continue in the series, and Dungey and Villo ignored the BS and just raced and did great, and now they're 1 and 2 in the series. That sounds like justice enough for me.

I'm not talking about the actual crash, I'm saying Reed shadowed him for 5 laps and passed up a dozen chances to pass him, and the only reason to do that is to find a good place to run into him.

Reed's a prick.
jmar wrote:
Are you getting ready to have another meltdown.

That was nothing more than racing.
What Jim said. That was just a racing thing. Reed didn't look like himself during the preceding laps. I don't think he was stalking James because it looked like he was a little off.

Just to clear something up for you, Reed wasn't there when Bubba and his gang showed up. He was still getting his hand checked. You can bash him if you want, but don't just make some of it up by saying Chad was hiding in a locked motor home..

meeeeelllltdooooowwwwwn. Did it ever occur to you you're the only person with this retarded point of view, besides one or two other rabid James fans? You must have some serious mental blocks going on if you got that out of watching the race.

How can anyone say Reed was on JS's fender? JS came into the corner on the outside, Reed on the inside. Not following - it's how you pass someone who is the same speed as you. Take a different line, wait for a mistake. So he was not only not following, but also coming into a 180 on the inside, which is how you set yourself up for a block pass.

So far former pro Tommy Benolkin and current pro SH105 both said it's just racing.

Four riders coming into the corner. Three come into the corner on the outside. The first rider (Millsaps?) takes the outside, but squares off the corner just a bit, causing the 2nd rider (Brayton?) to square even harder. The 3rd rider (JS) has to turn really hard to avoid Brayton. Reed comes through the whoops on the inside, not following, putting himself in position for the standard 180 pass if JS has trouble in the whoops. He comes into the corner, and there is Stewart, headed almost at him. Reed did a hell of a job to even come close to avoiding JS, which he obviously tried to do. Nobody's fault, a classic chain reaction crash.

Uhm, I agree that it was no fault of Reed at all.. I honestly don't see where anyone could come up with that after watching the race.

LMAO!!! This place is great...so funny!! Ah.....The Reed/Stewie crash was pure racing!! Reed was trying to stop and turned the bike to keep from straight up Teeing him up. Did you guys even notice that the track was hard to pass on and #7 rode around the same amount of laps behind #18. Was he just waiting to get a shot at taking #18 out?? NO!! Just waiting for a chance to get by.

Now...the Partridge/Stewie wreck is a whole different story. Stewart came over on him BIG TIME in the air and he knew he fucked up when he looked over after and knew what was about to happen. Then in the LCQ...he does the same damn thing to Hahn over the finish line when he passed him!!! WTF??

All the Reed haters here...did Reed go to the San Manuel rig last year and push Chisholm's bike over after that BS move?? I don't think so. It basically boils down to that, it was just racing. Reed may have been going in for a block pass, but he wasn't trying to clean him out like he did. It happens and it will again. Should be a good season...although....no more #22.

Just my 2 cents...or maybe 5 or 10 cents. LOL Continue with the entertainment all!!

Naw...he (CR) could have "punched him (JS) out" half a dozen times before that turn--had that been his intention...watch the race....
Just racing folks...good racing at that....AND unless your name is Ashley, you will get your noggin pushed out of my lap if I am able to after a crash...lol (sorry Ashley, you rock!)

Well thanks for the support...you too OG!!

I'm not quite old enough to race in Dr. D's class yet, but I doubt I want any part of all those local guys who are still fast as SHIT out there on that track. LOL I was actually going out there 2 yrs back, but things fell through. Maybe one day.

BTW....way to go RD5!!! That kid is for REAL!!!

So after getting home from the Arenacross last night and reading the forums I was really thinking I was going to get to see Reed clean his ass out.

Trust me this is what I WANTED to see. However it's not what happened.

How could anyone in their right mind say the guy that was standing still ran into the other guy?

OK, maybe I'm wrong. Whatever, racing has a way of settling things, and Reed is effectively out of the series, Stewart is in trouble in the series (which serves him right for his bonehead move on Partridge), and Dungey and Villo, who just showed up and raced, are 1 and 2 in the series. Works for me.
