Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
50k to buyout his contract.
He is gambling on himself with a one-year contract with Star. Hopefully it goes well as I am sure he burned his bridge with Club where he could have stayed at for quite a few years doing SX only / his Brazil racing in the summer.
Star probably paid that for him out of their MXdN budget
(ducking and running)
LOL, The REAL reason that Deegan didn't go. Star spent the money to hire Lopes.
Joking obviously.

I bet that figure will increase now ten fold.....
Some of the big soccer clubs in Europe have been caught with that and the buyouts now are astronomical... lost good talent for next to nothing...
One win will probably cover that loss in bonus so its worth a gamble, Enzo has the talent to get on top of the box so only time will tell.
I hope it works out for him. The environment over at Star isn’t for everyone, but I’m optimistic he will thrive.
This is what I was thinking. I’d rather say screw it with Lopes and see what I could do with Reynolds. He was too amateur kid and he ran top 15 outdoors after missing a ton of time the last couple of years. I’d rather see what i could do with Reynolds over the season. I’m more interested in Clubmx with Reynolds on the team then Lopes.
I agree. Reynolds had some decent rides for basically being injured and not racing for close to two years.
Club bikes have been unreliable and marchbanks was not doing well on 250s. The thought of losing a motor on a triple face is enough for just about anybody to dispense with notions of honor and all that.
I don't recall them being unreliable?
Everyone is gonna think I'm a "hater" but I don't have anything against Lopes....I just have this feeling last year was about as good as it's gonna get for him.
I don't think being on the Star bike/program is somehow gonna make him a title threat.
Deegan, Shimoda, Kitchen, Hampshire etc. are all just better in my opinion.
Plus he’s not afraid of racing the outdoors
You could very well be right, but put it into Star's perspective: We can get a rider with a not-too-big price tag (compared to the guys you mention), and just maybe we can make him a consistent top 5-guy.
they had the issues with the bar clamps that got blamed on luxon. i thought marchbanks' offseason injury was due to an engine letting go. (see link and uptite comment below)

Him and Marchbanks both had bike failures last week, Marchbanks got a broken wrist, I’m not sure how bad Jeremy got hurt, but he did get beat up.

Vital MX: There's a lot of talk on social media on quote unquote, engine failures or what people perceive as engine failure causing some issues. And a lot of those injuries lately have happened to be to guys using Jamie Ellis’ Twisted Development engines. (see link for full reply)

"The worst time to have a failure is from Heat 2 to LCQ with the quick turn around! It takes teamwork to swap engines in that short time to get @niquethury back out there! Great work @clubperformance_ @hunterlayton_ @cf403 @lehnertz481 #clubmx #clublife"

He isn’t afraid to ride outdoors… he makes more money racing in his home country during the summer… why is that so hard for you guys to understand 🤷♂️
That's it?
Jeez. Dudes are talking like he double-crossed Clubmx when there was literally a stipulation negotiated and agreed by both parties for expressly this purpose.
If Club doesn't like that particular buyout value, they have themselves to blame, not Enzo Lopes (or whoever rightfully chooses to exercise their previously agreed-upon options).
He is already consistent top 5. Finished top 5 in the majority of his rounds last season and 4th overall for the title.
I think you're missing the point. Doesn't matter if he's a title threat or not. He will be better, plain and simple. I think Star just expects getting on the box (or damn near) which I'm sure he'll be capable of.
Pit Row
Deegan already rides for Star. Shimoda, Kitchen, and Hampshire are three riders spread across two regions. Even if all those guys finish on the podium every week, there is room on the box for Enzo's Star bike.

No motocross for you. I wish you would do motocross.
I want to make sure things are straight. People say I don’t do outdoors because I’m lazy. If I was fully American and I had my family here and everyone, it would be one thing. But for me, I already spend from October to May alone, living in a two-bedroom apartment by myself, away from everyone. So, it’s just hard. I’m 24 now. I’ll be 25 in August next year. I’m in a different time in my life. Now I’ve been hanging out with Deegan and Bennick and they’re like 17. When I was their age, I would be here full-time no problem. Just because when you start growing up, you see life differently, I guess you can say. You appreciate other stuff. For me as a rider, it helps me to go home after supercross and be able to be with my family. That makes me do even better on the track.
So its not that he's afraid to do outdoors, its actually that he really misses mommy and hates being alone. Would not surprise me to find out he sleeps in kids pajamas and named his favorite blanky.
LOL
This may be a bit extreme but he’s almost 25 and his career of choice requires a commitment to relocate. His choice and sounds like he comes from a wealthy family so guess it makes sense for him to not go “all in”
I like Enzo. He was in a rough spot. You can’t blame him but it’s a bummer he only races sx. I feel like one more season at club could have gotten him a way better full time ride but without racing Mx ya kinda are only remembered for a half a season. Nothing about a one year sx only deal with star sounds appealing to me
In honor of phil nicolettis mechanical issues before the A1 main, just wanted to bump this thread with yet another data point regarding clubmxs incredible reliability record
good for Lopes to be on a Star bike its like Checo Perez at red bull. you get the best equipment in the class. the rest is up to Lopes.
Let’s not forget Star Racings bike blowing up at Unadilla on Deegan. They’ve had some issues too. Although Club does seem to have more than their share of DNFs.
