...Reed was riding directly behind Stewart hoping to ram him. He could have passed Stewart 10 times but he didn't want to. There's no reason for him to stay right on Stewart's tail other than to try to knock him down.

I'm not talking about the actual crash, I'm saying Reed shadowed him for 5 laps and passed up a dozen chances to pass him, and the only reason to do that is to find a good place to run into him.

Ok slomoto did you see how close the other rider was infront of stewart, common racing since says why the fuck would you go that far inside with 2 riders almost already occupying the same spot, pure stupidity on reed's part, that was a bs move, um unless its the final lap, that move was not necessary..

Stewart ran that same line for the 6 or 7 laps previous. Reed may not have wanted to hit him but he was setting up a block pass for sure.

It could have been avoided...Reed got what he deserved. James finished the race and saved as many points as he could. Dungey won and there were two other youngsters on the box. I don't think we can really complain

Exactly. If he hadn't ridden around for 5 laps behind Stewart and obviously avoiding passing him, it would be nothing. With him obviously setting up an opportunity to run into him. it's something.

I agree, James came down on Reed and I'm neither a fan or hater of either. Look where the contact on Reed was, well behind his front wheel.

As far as Reed following James around, that just doesn't fly. Chad had a great chance to make up the points from A1 and no way he would intentionally give that up. Fact is he was off all night. Look at his heat race, he looked bad.

Just seems like some Reed hate going on here. They showed that replay of their crash several times. Reed clearly was trying to stop and then barely hit him. IF Reed had been waiting for a good time to ram him, that was it. And he didn't.
