should we be expecting first ride impressions by this weekend?

Wow, that sucks. They did that with the '23 SR. When they do that it always makes me think they're afraid it won't get good reviews and so they're hoping to sell a bunch off the reputation of the previous bikes.

Manufacturers are still struggling with getting things out the door on time. Supply issues etc.

Damn, I'm anxious to ride one of these or hear feedback from someone who has. 

Sure, but surely keeping a couple of bikes for the media instead of sending them to dealers would be the better move?

Your talking the matter of a couple weeks so people can wait a few weeks if they want reviews first. Personally I think it’s cool they are releasing it to the public first. 

If I had to guess they are keeping some of those bikes for the media. They are just going to ship to dealers immediately whereas the media ride day has to be coordinated and will happen a week or two later.  I bet most shops still won’t have a bike in stock before the media ride day. 

Did your dealer get the bike?

Do you think they will release an SR midway through the year like the Austrian brands do or are they taking a year off from it because of the 50th anniversary bike?

Back in the day when we only had magazines you would buy a bike and wait months or wait months for the shootout and buy a bike.

From what I have seen and noticed the first time I watched a video the bike has a more planted look that differs from any other bike on the track.

I could swear someone mentioned shops getting shipments this week 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was told by my dealer that they were supposed to start showing up any day.  Hopefully they call me tomorrow. 

Stopped by a dealer in Newport News today.  They said they got one in a week ago that was pre-sold.  

Does anybody know when these 2024’s are going to be released to the dealers???

Spoke to my dealer last week and he said January but we're in Europe so might not be the same in the US. 

Kawi were at Pala today with what looked like a bunch of '24s. They had riders doing laps on the vet track. 

Breaking in bikes for the press intro maybe?

That is correct. They usually get an hour or 2 on each bike before the intro. I believe media rides the bikes Nov 7?

I believe press rides are the 15th.  They are all ‘24’s but odd that a couple have no graphics and have black seat and fork guards.  I wonder if it’s just Axell breaking in his new fleet.

It’s Nov now. Anyone heard when we will see them at dealers? Is it possible Kawasaki is waiting to try to move more of the leftover 23 models before the 24 is released?

Still haven't heard anything from the dealer I plan on buying from. I know they have zero leftover 450s.  G-Force here in Denver won't even build their leftover, it's just sitting in a crate, but they're assholes who don't like making deals. 

Keep calm, cannot be far off now. Australia have them.😋
