Cooper Webb is my favorite 250 racer along with Bradshaw (125).

There's no more waiting. There's no 2025. It's now.

What if, I mean just work with me here, but what if Cooper Webb steps forward and forgets that long play Carmichael strategy he embraced when entering the 450 ranks and returns to his 250 arrogant fast-as-f*ck ways and is the sole rider taking it to Lawrence in 2024.

An IMMENSE story.  A Rocky moment. Forget what you learned and go offense. Train for confidence, speed, and aggression. Let the rest go.

I have a feeling we may see this from Webb as he quietly trains for Anaheim. I think he can do it like nobody else can. Just a vibe I'm pulling from the crisp air of an October night.

Jett has a lot of guys to worry about. Whether Webb improves or not.

Tomac, Sexton and Roczen for pace will keep Jett on his toes and mix it up for wins.

that's true, I agree. just think it'd be an amazing story. the right comeback at the right time from the right fighter before the sun sets.

He had the red plate and was in the hunt for the SX title just six months ago.

We're acting like he's finished and praying for a major comeback?

good point. but he hasn't been the assassin like he was on the 250. he won two 450 titles playing the Carmichael card but I personally don't think he can afford that in 2024. the only way to beat a healthy Jett Lawrence is grit and risk. it's the year to get mean.

What is it with Webb threads?? They will randomly pop up like someone is penning a letter to a loved family member... we had the "open letter to webb" a few years ago. I dont get it.

Right. I guess a Dungey comparison would be more appropriate. In SX at least. Webb couldn't get a wiff of Dunge outdoors

Webb was good, a master tactician, amazing race-craft but with guys his speed. Now that they have stepped up their speed he is being left behind.

He should be happy, he has 2 SX championships in the 450 class. More than most, but I don't see a third one coming.

So Tomac wasn't fast in 2019 and 2021 and Webb should be happy about his titles.    lol   Dude fucking earned those titles.

Webb holding the red plate this year against Tomac and Sexton....my how short the memory spans are here.

Dudes been an animal dating back to his early days.    You can see the fire in his face...even in his defeats recently in SMX (watch ep 9 Beyond the gate).

I love when people overlook/discount Webb.

Amazing how fast everyone forgets that he's a 2 time 450 sx champ.  Reading the above you'd think the dude didn't live up to something he was supposed to do.  Webb is not Carmichael or McGrath, and that's okay.  There's only been one Carmichael and McGrath.  It's a silly world to live in to think 2 time 450 sx champ is a failure.  I expect Webb to be right there come sx season battling for the Title next season as he consistently does.  We are also forgetting Webb was ahead of Sexton in points and keeping Tomac honest last season before he got injured.  Without his late season injury, he's likely the champ instead of Sexton just last season.

Who is leaving Webb behind!?  He was in the Title hunt LAST SEASON up until his final lap.  He's not going to battle with the top outdoors, but he never has on a 450.  Coop rips. Still

Jett won't even be thinking about Webb.
