Does anyone actually take their shoutouts seriously at this point?
MXA put it in fourth right behind the three Austrian bikes. They also said that Mitch Payton told them the bog they were feeling was probably because of the larger air box, not the heavier cam chain.
I like Swap but a main sponsor is uhhh. Yamaha…. I found MXA to actually have the least biased reviews and best info for more hours on the bikes. Not a short time one day….and the main sponsor, or main advertisor ^^^vvv, ….always does well…just sayin…
Many people love MXA. Many of those same people also love orange bikes

I haven’t seen any more ads for orange than any other color with MXA…so maybe they are less biased and that is just their reviews? Look at Swap and try to find an in studio podcast or YouTube video without Yamaha in the background….usually wearing a Yamaha hat and a Yamaha shirt. Don’t get me wrong…I love Swap. Especially the “How was your Weekend”? He interviews riders instead of talking for most of the video himself. …but if you don’t think his biggest sponsor gets some favoritism in shootouts and reviews??…then you my friends…are naive.
So it finished essentially where the '23 did for MXA, ahead of all Japanese bikes, but behind Austria, which is still not any sort of "trouble in blue paradise"
That's a great looking bike! I'm 46yrs old and remember the Factory Yamaha from '94 so I'm obviously biased
Swap is the biggest bro down moto “journalist” in moto. Keefer, and ML are great for bike breakdowns. MXA is all about Austria for the vet crowd.
I remember when mxa was accused of being yzxa. Oh they only let yamaha win because the advertise. Then thumperxa there not giving 2 strokes enough credit. Then the kx250f now Austria.
The same mxa that put the yz450f first last year?
MXA is the most unbiased as they come. I remember they used to be called Honda Action and Yamaha Action because those bikes would win their shootouts for years. Just now the Austrian bikes are hard to beat...
