It's an awesome bike friend has a 21 and 2 years later it still looks new got around 45 hrs on it. I've ridden a few times deceptively fast. Ktm wheels fit the rear just needs the different wheel spacers.

It's been trouble free just basic maintenance. I would put the tm design works swingarm slider and the other lil one by the upper roller on. Chain gets to slack it can slightly rub the frame tube.

The RR skid plates mount right up. Front brake rotor is ktm. Rear sprocket is same as CR 250. Crf250r shift levers fit the 04 thru 09.

Real good info Joe, thanks! Definitely psyched about this bike, way more than most anything else I have had the last few years.

Copy cat!!!

Good handling scooter.  A little to crisp for me but easy to tame down.  Mine hit like a freight train before I rain mod’ed and backed PV out.  I’ve swapped PV springs but haven’t rode it yet.  Even with 40:1 break in still started and ran better than any 2 stroke I’ve owned or ran across.  Beta makes a good scooter.

Lol, Nice! Good feedback, appreciate it. I usually buy a lot of extras, but plan to run this mostly stock, jet well and go. Interested in the PV tuning and such too. Can't imagine needing much of anything on this bike.

I’m bad about aftermarket, extras/mods too.    It’s only money.

I bought two seats to replace the 1x6 factory seat that came on it.  A guts tall for the track and Seats Concepts comfort for trails set down etc.

I brought mine home and first thing I did was burn hell out of my leg on dang chamber.  Been long time since I had a two stroke.  Bought P-Carbon pipe guard, the full length one.

RX doesn’t come with a skid plate, I bought a Polisguard.  Didn’t come with front disc cover, bought Acerbis, cheap and works.

if your smoking fast don’t worry about it, but I’m old and slow, bought the PV spring kit.  Some are removing the inner spring and just run the outer with PV screw run in.  PM me if you have questions and I’ll hook you up with Gus smarter then me on 300 RX.

Does Beta use any KTM components? I'm not familiar with the brand.

Good stuff, appreciate the perspective/feedback. I like the flat top aesthetics of the bike, but can see spending a few dollars on a seat quite possibly. Picked up some OEM levers, couple of filters, TM Designs skid plate and rad guards. Not too crazy about a big skid plate, will probably trim it closer to MX use. I went with the BPD guards, fit pretty well from past experience. The BETA rads have fairly stout louvres from whatnot looks like, but got them anyway. I am sure the keep it close to stock vibe will erode as the off season goes and probably get more stuff for it.

From my understanding, some stuff like wheels may cross-over. Probably levers, hopefully the Beta experts will chime in.

Damn, that is nice. I may put that on a parts list that will inevitably happen.

In their infancy they used the older KTM RFS motors, but now use they use their own engines.

Lets see it! Thinking about trying a Beta 250 2T for 2024. Is there any info on contingency from Beta for MX & Off Road?

Very nice pick, congrats on the new cycle and let us know how she works out with a ride report once you have some time on her!

From my understanding, some stuff like wheels may cross-over. Probably levers, hopefully the Beta experts will chime in.

Had a set of wheels built for my Beta, Faster USA. Front the same as KTM.  Rear a tad bit different.  Wheel will work with different spacers. Rear rotor same bolt pattern, sprocket different bolt pattern then a KTM.

Beta’s are pretty reliable, with great warranty/service from the manufacturer. They have had some issues, but seem to get the problems fixed asap.

Minor electrical problems, check your connections. Some ECU mapping problems, but mostly on the dual sport models.  2023 and 2024 have KYB front and rear suspension.  Grease triple trees and swingarm/linkage.  Not sure on the 2024, but the stock seats suck, hard as a rock.

Also the thermostat set-up is kinda strange.  Get a set of good hoses, they have a kit to take the thermostat out.  I had the radiator welded up, so you don’t have to run a plug on the radiator outlet.

Appreciate the intel, I usually frame my bikes, will probably do the same on this one. I did ask the dealer about greasing out of curiosity, he said it'd probably be a good idea to do the linkage at a minimum. If I go that far, may as well do the swingarm too. The steering head bearing has grease peaking out at the bottom, that is a good sign. Will go thru the connections and such for sure, don't want any surprises.

These Beta’s look so good in person. I bet that 300 barks with the squared bored & stroke, sounds like they do.

The first time I rode it was at richland on that area 51 track. Which is deep soft sand was in that tight lil S turn section.

3rd gear costed down to just above idle like 1500 rpm. No clutch I give it a handful it pulled hard into a good wheelie and I wasn't even trying to wheelie.

My friend on it at burnt ridge a couple weeks ago. Yes that's mx tech black jack fork internals and dlc coated tubes and a natty shock. Pipe n silencer is a pro circuit but they only make them for the older chassis currently. He had some guy tweak it. Think the biggest problem was the way the silencer bends coming out of the pipe around the shock area.

Think on the newer chassis it's straighter don't recall if the expansion chamber mounts needed changing. I can get some better pics n details. Other mod to engine is boyesen rad valve.

Beautiful Machine--congratulations!

So is that the full Moto version or is it like the XC?

It is the moto version, but....from what I have taken from reviews and such, it'd be a great XC machine too. Thanks for the enthusiasm!

Badass, congratulations on the new scoot.

Know a couple of guys with them and they love them, as everyone else here. They look a little out there, wild plastics / colour scheme, but they're proper cool bikes no question.

Can’t sleep one of those nights, might as well comment again.

I’m really impressed with my RX even though only ridden it once.  I hope to ride it again after the 23 of this month when I go back to the knee Dr., if knee is better.  Dang bad left knee.   I’ve whined about this before, had mine since first week in sept.  Couldn’t  ride it till I got over my concussion.  Rear ended in a car wreck.  Went to the bank to get a cashiers check so I could go to the dealer next Day and pick it up and soccer mom decides to drive 70 in the turn lane.  My luck lately has kinda sucked ya might say.  Getting old doesn’t help.

Have a heavier rear spring on the bench, will swap it next week when I’m back home.  I’m a big guy.  Will probably swap front springs too,  want to ride again before I do.

It appears Beta parts are not a problem.  Called dealer, said I need a spring, few days later I had a spring.

Good thing Beta didn’t have a 250 RX 4 stroke this year.  My wife would have really been pissed……matching pair of Betas in the garage.  I could probably get my hands on a 450RX but I’m not a 450 guy.  Never have been, always a 250 guy.
