This is all by design. Conflict all over the world at the same time. With our resources depleted China strolls right into Taiwan. Taiwan under China affects us much more than Ukrain under Russia. And that's our own doing. I sure hope we are NOT on the path to WWIII.

I'm watching, as many are, this utter, outright barbarity and depravity on full display here, and thinking about how many Muslims we've allowed to walk right on in from various parts of the world and wondering how long it's going to be before the shooting starts here.

How come nobody ever talks about all the Palestinian's killed and displaced by Syria or Lebanon? Why did Egypt or Lebanon not give Gaza to the Palestinians when they held it?

All valid questions - Palestinians have consistently been let down by the world.

However my original point in commenting was to highlight the casual lust for war Americans inhabit.
 

A country that not only somehow involves itself in almost all conflicts around the world but also has a track record of not calling out genocides in real time (think Rwanda now Palestine). 

All I can say is this...never, ever, confuse what the US govt does with the "will" of the American people.  It's the same in Gaza, Iran, North Korea, England...you name it.  

I'd say the majority of Americans (a small majority but enough) just want to be left alone to live their lives.  BUT...if you want to fuck around...we don't play nicely.  I was a Schwartzkopf fan.  There ain't no crying uncle when we get dragged into the game.  We decide when it's over.

You may not appreciate this mindset.  It doesn't matter.  Fuck around...and find out.

And it’s that “mindset” that has destabilised and caused thousands if not millions of deaths in South/Centra America, The Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Facts are where you find conflict you will find America. This has been a habitual cornerstone of all American governments which are voted in by the American public. American government 🔁 American public. You don’t have one without the other. 

That “mindset” has accomplished more for good in the world than bad.

Palestine has been offered deals that give them statehood, and land.

They consistently refuse, stating without compromise that they want Israel wiped off the planet ("from the river to the sea"), and want it all.  And they get nothing.

I don't see how their refusal to compromise, or bargain is considered being let down by the world.

No country can allow the slaughter that Palestine did to Israel.  They have to defend themselves.

I hope the Palestinian people get rid of Hamas and negotiate peace with Israel.
