The unions are the reason nearly every blue collar worker in this country has any rights at all...much less a "minimum" wage. Very, very few companies pay fair wages and benefits without pressure from govt or outside pressures. Never forget...companies are in the money "makin'" business...not the money "spendin'" bidness. Sadly, the unions are now in the same bidness.
