Yeah, my bad. Running on 2 hours of sleep doesn't help. Laughing

Bike has Prado's number, though. Prado is in the Open class unless it recently changed.

I’m wondering what kind a bike Roczen will ride? And what parts he will  have with him..

There are some really cool bikes…and some pretty lame ones for it being MXdN.  Many disappointments seem to have KTM and Red Bull.  Also…USA has had some extremely cold graphics in some past years but…c’mon KTM.  The Huskies had potential until the ginormous Rock Star that covers 1063 square feet of the bike.  It should be about the country…not the other stuff.  Fans will know and appreciate the sponsor without ruining the national pride being displayed.

The patriotic bikes and gear might be my favorite part of MxdN. I think pretty much everyone knocked it out of the park this year, minus the factory KTM's and Rockstar helmets.

I wouldn’t call this a knock out of the park….could have been…but no…

white outline is US Flag.
Red outline area Rock Star black and gold….which colors have nothing to do with the USA.

C’mon….it’s Des Nations!!

not des energy drinks….

I'm with you, I wish the energy drinks would fuck off for just one event. Gear, especially helmets and bikes look bland and boring as fuck as they are dominated by a corporate logo, zero personality.

Now everyone comes along with the "without energy drinks we have no event mantra" they can still have logos, just make them a tonne smaller so they dont dominate.

80,s and 90's looked so much better.

Yes I'm old so get the fuck off my lawn 🤫

The bike looks great.

The pic isn't great for Photoshop, but just for the fun of it, I'd like to see what it would look like with different wheel combinations.

Silver rims and red hubs

Blue rims and red hubs

Just a couple of design examples from not long ago that kick ass on stuff I see this year.  They even still had the monster logo…just not the prominent thing on the bike.

Yeah, surely they get enough advertising exposure through the regular season to give the teams a chance for some better designs...

Or just about every banner, tough block, and interview background…oh and hat and jersey and holding the can…logo out.  Make sure when you hold the can you pull your fingers in, like no human holds a can for real, and expose the whole logo.  I get it…they help pay for everything…but damn…

You expect Energy drinks to pump in all that money and then take a reduced role in the biggest race of the year? Not sure that’s super fair or realistic.

You say it was much better in the 80’s and 90’s, in the 80’s there was quite often no change to the look of the bikes at all for this event and in the 90’s it was literally just the normal, year round graphics for most people with the team flag on the back number boards, so I’m not sure what you’re getting at

BamBam’s bike 2 pictures up…that’s classy and the main sponsor is still obviously displayed.  They could have done that…but Red Bull KTMs this year?  and Rock Star on USA?  Sad.  And many others not much better.  Still some cool bikes…just not as many.

It’s obviously a case of personal preference but that bike of Bam’s is hideous IMO, far too over the top
