I don't get how he goes out and does a 35 minute moto fresh out the pen, then can't finish the main after taking a direct transfer spot? I'm not hating by any means, just seemed like old tricks. I wish Jason the best tho, and I can't wait to see him catch his stride.

I dont even know what to say... Yea congrats on the main, but seriously just finsh the race. Now I cant imagine how exhausting and tiring it is but thats your life thats what you do. I would be so much happier if he just finished last rather than pulling off AGAIN.

One thing overlooked about J-Law's situation is the stimulus overload you get when you go from being locked in a cage for 1/4th of a year, to being under the spotlights every waking moment.

I could see it all over his face in those interviews on TWMX. Not only was he exhausted, but he was further drug down by all the attention. It is a common problem going from jail back into public. Most excons have problems entering into society after even 90-days, and very few of them come out of jail to the situation J-Law was dealt.

Frankly, I'm surprised he's held together so well, so far. And good luck to him!

I think he needed to finish that race, no matter what his position. He could have just rode his own race and doubled the sections. In my opinion him not finishing is a bad sign, and I'm a huge fan.

Props to Grant Langston! Now we just need to get those guys who broke into his shop what's coming to them

I checked in with the team after the race and they told me today was the fifth time he'd ridden, and that it was a conscious decision not to ride. His hands were hamburger, and he just couldn't hang on. Rather than risk getting hurt, he opted not to ride.

They also said not to expect to see him next week, or until he's ready to race.

Hey, for being on the sidelines for as long as he was, he looked good.

Also, GL looked way better during racing than he did during practice. He got much better throughout the day.

The first practice for GL was rough, I was concerned for his safety.

when will someone make j-law understand that not all publicity is good publicity.......
since he has a big name on the team, that atracts a lot of good publicity.......couldnt he just work out, get in race shape, do a few sx for the fans and then try his best at outdoors.........cant anyone in that team see the mistake it is to let j-law keep doing his thing.....without any sense......!!!!!!
btw....shouldnt he know by now that only the gift will not take him anywhere.......that he has to respect the work and effort that the others put in....and do at least some of his own.........

Well, when you have blisters on blisters on blisters and your hands are spewing blood through your gloves, you can't very well be expected to be showing the front wheel to Stewart, can you?

I'm an offical J-Law fan now!

To see him make the main, with a shaved head, sans black-white stripped shirt, was real impressive. I even had a smile on my face after he pulled off the track in the main.

Just goes to show how hard they have to train.

im really not liking pulling off in the main. cant do that anymore. ive been a jlaw fan through all the rough. defended him countless times. almost gave up on him. pumped to see him back and giving it his all. pulling off in the main is not giving it your all. i dont care if you finish last place rolling every jump.......... just finish the races.

LOL, Are you kidding me? The dude spent 4 months in jail not 4 yrs. Jlaw is the ultimate quitter. He could of rode around and finished that race. He did this same thing last yr. if he got a start he would hang around. If he got a bad start or tipped over during the race then he would pull off.

Talent has brought Lawrence as far as it will get him.

He might have just mis-judged his current situation, you know. His cardio wasn't that great before going into his four month vacation, so it follows that he'd have issues, until he can get back to his normal "riding" self.

J-Law aught to spend some dough on getting his hands healed ASAP.
Also, he might want to interrogate GL to see how the F he did so AWESOME!

Until the kid gets a dose of reality from someone it isn't going to happen anytime soon. When you do all the things this kid has done and still get the big money ride and huge sponsors to give you the world, his I don't give a sh*t attitude isn't going to change. He needs to have all that stuff pulled from him and then we'll see where the great J-Law lands. Right back in the slammer would be my guess. How many chances does someone deserve before it is determined that they just aren't going to get it? By it, I mean LIFE. Any company associated with this kid should be ashamed that they give him anything. He is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with todays motocross racing. There are no values and loyalty in the sport anymore. It is all about the fancy million dollar house and a pimp daddy ride parked in the garage. Whatever happened to riding for the love of riding a motorcycle? There are a thousand kids out there that haven't been to jail that would love to get blisters from riding a motorcycle but they can't afford to buy one. I don't comment much on this site because it is in my best interest not to do so. However, I'm so tired of seeing a kid that has done everything in life wrong get handed everything on a silver platter and people defend his every move. A kid that bumps into Chad Reed on the start gets bashed up one side and down the other yet a guy that has done nothing but give up his entire life gets defended. Yes, the kid is fast and he has showed signs of one day possibly being great I'm not denying that. But there are many fast kids that don't ever get the chance because they don't have the silver spoon feeding everything to them every step of the way. It's time someone wakes up and pulls the silver nipple away from him and then we'll truly see the real J-Law.

I think if he did an Alessi and came out and said he was using SX to get in shape for the outdoors it would be wise and take some of the expectations and pressure off his shoulders. Didn't see the race, bummed he didn't finish. How did he look in quali?
