"The bad news is that Steve is no longer part of the Racer X crew as of yesterday. "

I'm not close to the situation at all, but I assume it has more to do with him seeing an opportunity in his new moto radio show.

There's a silly season to everything, including journalists. Steve was looking for a bigger opportunity, and Transworld MX made him a great offer and he took it. Our loss is their gain for sure, just as it was for them we grabbed Garth Milan when the opportunity came up. In the end, it's a small industry and we're all in this together, I like to think anyway!

That kind of attitude will get you nowhere in business, young man. Well, except you already are somewhere, so...still, you can't make a business without cutting throats and knocking heads...except you haven't done that and you have a pretty substantial enterprise going on there....Ok, there has to be some kind of explanation about your ability to bend the laws of the business universe and get away with it, like maybe voodoo or something. So spill it, DC, how is it that you can thrive AND have a altruistic outlook on life? Eating live chickens under a full moon?

We all appreciate it when the main man stands up and sets the record straight before things go down the gutter. Thanks DC.

Does that include me Davey? And should I stop referring to you as Davey and just use DC?

Maybe he got offered the gig as a "fluffer" for those hot models in the TWMX pullout photo shoots.

Steve , Good luck with the new position. I'm sure DC will replace you with someone equally outstanding.

Congrats, Steve even though I'm not a huge fan of the website or mag either. Had to be a step up I'm sure. Maybe you can pull me in!

Although him leaving Racer X is a loss for them, maybe Steve can bring TWMX up to a higher, Racer X type standard. How cool would it be to have two GREAT mags instead of one "great" one, and one "just ok" one. Neither one of them is losing any business from me. It all makes sense now, I was having trouble pulling up the Matthes podcasts when I typed in "Racer X".

Thanks for being a stand up guy, DC!

I remember hearing a quote from Swap about who his friends were... blah.. blah who he thought his friends were...

Point is you could tell he was scorn at some people, or someone... didn't know Garth had left... now I know who Swap was talking about, LOL
