I think he will do well. I don't personally see a title for the Mini Beast in 2010. Just my opinion for Supercross.

I would love to be proven wrong tho, as Barcia seems like a helluva kid.

Multiple podiums, multiple crashes, (1) DNF from one of the crashes, and two holeshots. Glad he is riding East Coast so I can see him race in Atlanta.

No doubt about it, Kid is gonna win freaking races! Im calling 3 or 4. He loves to jump and looks fast as grease lightning already. Plus, he loves the fans and we love him. Over the summer watching him, I honestly became a fan of the Wide Damn Open Barcia Style!

He will be really fast, fun to watch, but. I think he will ride over his head and crash. I hope not, but for some reason I see a panic rev/Barcia rev scrub to highside splat. I hope not because I love to watch the kid ride I hope he remembers he needs to slow down to go fast! He has all the tools to be a SX champ.

Pourcell is West it appears because of the injuries to Wilson. I think Barcia earning a title in 2010 is a huge longshot. Yes, he is very quick but inconsistent and crashing will be his demise in year one in SX. For MX he cannot beat Pourcell for a Championship. Christophe does not make many mistakes and is by far the quickest of the field and that combination is hard to beat.

Aint Hansen riding east too?,and so is Metcalfe too due injury at the moment. I dont think that Barcia is a "better" rider than Hansen or Metcalfe, he may be faster, but not better.

Barcia is going to be hit and miss. He will win 1 or 2 races but he will shit on himself too. IMO Metty is not better or faster than Barcia. Not even close. As far as Hanson goes who cares? He is not a contender.

Barcia will only get faster. The kid rolled off of the Amatuer scene with more speed than Metty. Barcia is a threat to win at any race . Metty on the other hand is not. He has proven that over the last 5 yrs.

Barcia? Top 5 indoors and out. Wins a couple races, but no titles. He's my fav 250 guy, but I can't really see more than that out of him. He'll be shooting for #1 plates in 2011.

Most probably. In Supercross he'll have a couple of wins and some podiums if he can stay in control, in the MX he'll be podium most races but won't really be a match for Pourcel IMO.
