You apparently are not armed to have this argument if that is the best you can do.

I haven't done drugs since I was 18 and I haven't "done" porn since I gave my life to Christ. Besides this is way more entertaining. And your argument still has no merrit in the grand scheme of things.

That explains everything.

You should have stuck with the drugs, and gave porn a second chance.

In the grand scheme of things, you are the only thing that doesn't matter.

Pastrana, Everts were tall too RJ and BAiley beat ward and they were taller. Thorpe is 6 foot. Dungey and pourcel are not small guys either, neither is Rattary.

I do think tall riders may be susceptable to injuries in some cases due to having less muscle but it doesn't matter what height you are it is the rider skill that matter, being small has advantages and disadvantages as does being tall.
Oh no,,,,,,, I agree with mccread. I'm sorry Gibby. It'll never happen again. Outside of that, this thread delivers.

I was wrong.

You're not a proper tool.

You're a proper fucktard.

I gave my life to Christ

Seriously? How many years ago was that? You seem to have quite a few smart ass remarks, which doesn't seem to be how someone that "gave their life to Christ" would act.

The correcting typo thing is lame at best.

The Pro riders association should address this and get the teams to test theories.

I'll be talking to a few of the over 6'2" guys to get their ideas on this. We'll see what they think.

I thought we covered this already. Because it is a retarded idea.

Mike Alessi weights 150 soaking weight. Matt Goerke weighs 200lb.

The current bike weight minimum is 220.

With your bright idea to have a min rider+bike weight Alessi would have to add something in the neighborhood of 30lbs to his bike (250lb factory mxer!) with an average combined weight rule of 400lbs. Goerke's bike could weigh 200lbs. Getting the picture yet? And that is assuming an average rider weight of 180lbs.

How exactly do you think this plan is going to work? Go to the gym and work on squatting more than my grandmother and you won't need to whine as much.

The only thing that is retarded is to keep doing nothing.

No one has the answers, it all takes time to figure out. All that needs to happen now is to identify a possible need. I think most agree that there is a need for something, who knows what. but, something anyway.

Heres the practice times from Lierop this summer. Ken DeDyker was 6 seconds faster than De Reuver in 2nd and yet 2nd to 8th were covered by just 6 tenths of a second. Theres not a chance in hell the DeDyker could make those guys look that stupid if he wasnt well over 6 foot. Anyone watching him manhandle that bike over the bumps could see his sheer size was a massive advantage, at least on a track with bumps that big.

No, the problem isn't that big and tall riders are at a disadvantage its hair color. RC has red hair, Jeff Ward has red hair, RV has red hair, Ferry has red hair and their all blazing fast.So the reason I am not a factory must because I have brown hair. Damn if I had only figured it out sooner maybe we could have had the AMA change the rules and let everyone without red hair have a lap head start.

I've seen Preston ride, he's the only guy to beat James Stweart out of a 125/250 SX title. He ususlaly gets too tired to hang on most of the time, but I like him anway. I said there were exceptiions, DeDytker is a bad ass, if he were 5' 7" he'd be a 4-time world champ by now, not a one or two time GP winner.

If some of you don't think there is an advantage to being small then ride a BMX bike tomorrow, just like you did when you were a kid, I bet you can't keep it under you, even if you are 5' 6", the CG is higher, and the wheelbase is too short for your CG. Thats what Windhan and Milsaps have to over come ever turn, every lap every second of the race.

If you don't hink its a valid discussion, put your helment on to cover the point (on the top of your head) Ha ha!

We could be racing 40-minute motos still, if the tall guys did'nt have heat strokes.
The fastest BMX'ers are actually built pretty big. Lots of x-games guys are big on bmx, and skateboards too. Now why arent midgets the best at skateboarding? T-hawk is pretty tall. Go get yourself a cr500af, then see if you do any better. You will surely get the most important holeshot, unless you suck no matter what you are riding. Yet I do see your point, that is why it should be open, open to any displacement, any stroke. You will not see any one any good on a 1000cc. Thats for sure. Premier Class for the fastest, Support Class for the ones to come, or left.

Lets add 100# to the 150# football player, see how that works out. Then make the 350# guy lose 100#, or he simply cant play. All you need to do is prove to the manufacturers that you are the fastest in the world and they will make you whatever you want I'm sure.

TIME TO VENT A LITTLE :

Most agree on what? WTF are you talking about? Something needs to be done? You are going to talk to the "pro riders association"??....WTF? HAHA!! Dude , when i first read your original post , i agreed you posted some things that were true ( Things everyone already knows!) About how some taller riders may have a disadvantage on some tracks....and all that shit.

You act like we know nothing about the sport of SX/MX.......you arrogant fucking baffoon! I have forgotten more about this sport than you will ever know! I not only raced bikes for 30+ years , but was a trainer for kids on and off the bike!

Maybe we should get some of the professional trainers in here ( which some do post here) and you can give them the break down on how they should train a rider! OH NO.....wait.......You could save them a lot of time and energy by telling them which guys "will make it" and "Which ones won't".......because of their fucking size! Don't waste your time on the bigger guys.......they are not worth it , is what you are saying correct?

Your ideas of adding weights to bikes and so forth have got to be the stupidest fucking thing i have ever heard. And THEN......you fucktard , have the balls to come in here and give Loudog ( Weston Peick's dad) advice on how his son should race in his MX career?

Are you fucking kidding me?

Jesus Christ.....i'm not sure where the fuck you came from , but where ever it was....please go back there!

Good Lord- a newbie comes on with his first post at 500 words and five pages later is calling people out and rewriting the laws of motophysics . And 30 posts later throwing down all kinds of internet bravado. Either this place is slipping or A1 needs to start quick.!

Bigger guys can handle the rough stuff better...the smaller guys can handle the corners better. There that would of ended the thread at post #2.

Chad Reed totally killed those averages with his XXsmall head.

In hindsight I am the perfect rider. I wonder why I am not a champion. Must be because the bikes are made for midgets.

I think though that most time is made up in corners so advantage has to go with shorter riders.

Mx bikes are designed for the average height rider, any variance to that must be a disadvantage. A tall set of bars doesn't fix that.

I think there is some merit to size in motocross, but it is BALL and HEART size. Let's everyone give ole Moto112 a big STFU and ignore him after that.
