Maybe if they pull the '21 KTM race bike out of the shed and wipe the cobwebs off it.

It will be pretty tough to be even better than he was on the Honda. It's become fashionable to put down Sexton but he's getting beat by an otherworldly rider in Jett. He's putting 45sec on the rest of the field. Maybe the KTM improves him in some small areas? Hunter ain't beating him next year, by the way

It’s all downhill from here for Sexton.  Sucks to see ego be his downfall.

Hunter blew up his HRC 250, so the extra power of a 450 might suit him well.  It will certainly be interesting to see.

Idk, except for his front end washing Chase is riding great. Last year nobody called for a bike change to help him get better. They put over a minute on third place today. I can't imagine him being much faster than that on any bike

Option 2 is flawed. Hunter is not going to hand Chase anything.

You don't think Hunter on a HRC 450 has a chance against Sexton on a KTM 450 factory bike.

Chase will make 3rd for sx.

There is no point in trying to predict 2024 outdoors, that's an eon away.

I also feel Hunter will make 4th sx, although he wont be in the same league as the top 3.

I think chase will be good with Decoster and Ian Harrison. Seems like he’ll gel more with their no nonsense approach and being very serious imo

Yes he will, but inconsistent, just like this and last year.

Well he has proven he can’t beat him on the same bike. May as well try something else.

Who knows? The best thing is that we all get a big reset come A1, where this year’s Outdoor’s results will mean little.

True but it’s hard when the kid starts first literally every race and if not you tip over

😄 What's your source?

Chase was amazing this year, but much like Chad Reed, and K-Dub, he is racing against all-time greats in Eli and Jett.

I think his best shot was to go Star, not that that was an option...well maybe If Eli retired.

Just thought about this..so the real question is does he have to drop Monster now as a KTM rider. I would assume so.

I bet you Hunter beats Chase in the standings for the 24 outdoor 450 title

Yes, Red Bull is the team sponsor.

It wasn't the bike holding him back.

Hunter wasn’t consistent until last year in the states. Nobody really had him for a title until he started going as fast as his little brother last year. He wasn’t very consistent in any of the other championships he’s raced in either. Winning a race doesn’t mean you’re consistent.

I think having Jett and HRC in his corner with Bike set up's is going to be very beneficial for Hunter in his 450 debut.  He's going to learn a lot from Jett after the season his little brother just had.  Those Honda HRC 450's were the class of the field outdoors this year.

He won't win another ama championship unless Jett is out injured.  I doubt Hunter is much of a challenge.  But Jett obviously has him covered.

You put way too much emphasis on the bike. Jett and Hunter would have won the titles this year if they were on Kawis, Yamaha, whatever

I think the Honda's played a big part of Jett and Chase's success this year, because in almost every moto 3rd place was quite a  ways behind.   I'm not so sure if Hunter would have been as successful had he been on anything else, except maybe a Star Yamaha 250F
