Did you just go oem for the clutch? how did the valves look? and nope mines a 23' still has the 1.85
OEM clutch, I’m not very hard on them.
Valves were spec except one needed the smallest shim, was probably like that from the factory.
I’ll probably do a piston around 50
Nope, you can order the entire assembly! Comes assembled. Just need a rim band, sprocket, the little metal seals that go in the bearing, disc, tube, that little rubber tube valve piece, and a tire.
If you use motosport, email Dan: Dan.Vazquez@MotoSport.com
if you tell him Max B sent you, he can probably rush any shipping for big items.
Been then the ringer with Honda clutches, as well as Kawi and KTM clutches. I recommend throwing in a Rekluse torq drive clutch pack. Easy on the bank $250 give or take, great performance and reliability. Thank me later

Yep I run the rekluse torq on my 22 and love it. Also have been running 2.15 rear wheel with a 110 since the day I bought the bike. I went with KSR Wheels who built me a set of d.I.d. Dirt stars with Hahn hubs and black bulldog spokes. Great quality wheels from my favorite wheel builder. He’s on instagram if any of you guys are looking for a new set. My current mods on the bike are the rekluse torq drive clutch, twin air power flow kit, yoshi full system, factory connection suspension,Lexon linkage, ksr wheels, and a vortex ecu tuned by chad at xpr. I love the looks and power of this bike but I miss how comfy my 20 was. I don’t know if it’s the rigidness /stiffness on this bike but I seem to get arm pump way faster on this current bike .

Did you run a 51 inch sprocket? With the bigger tire and the 51, it’s pretty close to the mudflap with the original chain. I am thinking I might need to add a link to the chain…
tooth**
Same question to you: are you running a 51 tooth and did you add a link to the chain?
22’ 🇺🇾
First ride saturday with 51 sproket. I added a link to the chain, I don't like the tire too close to the mudflap
Yeah, I just ordered a new chain. If anyone wants a brand new DID 520 DZ2 cut to stock length, it’s yours for 60 bucks (I’ll pay shipping).
Are here 2023 owners who can confirm that their 2023 also has that hole under the seat?
We have 22 & 23, both have air box holes under the seat.
That is crazy.
I work at a Honda dealer and just looked up the part # and it it the same for both bikes plus the RX model.
I don't have an answer...
22 and 23 euro models have no hole
thx
Not sure on a stock 450 rim. I have a set that Dubya built me with a 2.15 rear rim. My bike has twin air power flow, full yosh Ti, XPR mapped vortex ignition, runs on T4, Renthal rear sprocket (same teeth as stock), KYB kit suspension.
Pit Row
I run a 50 on my bike.
So what’s everyone running for gearing ?
im on stock 13/49 till now. If anything I think it can be geared higher, as I rarely use second gear on most tracks.
is it safe to run a 14 front ? I’m thinking 14/52 might be a better setup?
Stock is 13/50 isn’t it? I’m sure that’s what’s on my ‘23…
Well that’s interesting. My bike is a 23, and came delivered with a 49 rear. I checked the manual, and it states standard is 50t, as you say !
Yep 13/50 is stock gearing . I’ve seen many say to run 13/51 for mx but I’ve never tried it.
I run 51 outdoors and 52 indoors.
13/50 with 100 tire is the same as 13/51 with 110 tire
What has tire size have to do with the gearing??🫣
I thought so. I’m in two minds on mine if I want to drop the rear to a 49 so I can lug it a bit more through second and third (a lot of tracks we race on at club level are tight and twisty), or go to a 51 and see if it’ll pull third more. I suspect on a longer track or more open one a 51 would be good, but for the niggly stuff 49 might work.

Rode the first hour with my 23.
Clutch pull is a little to hard for 1 finger. Is there a cheaper way to make the clutch easier to pull than the magura hydraulic clutch?
Other than that a great bike so far. Motor feels very strong compared to my 144 TM and easy to ride. Revalved the suspension before the first ride, so I cant say anything about the stock suspension.
Give the bike some break in time before you mess with the clutch. Clutch pull lightens up after a few rides.
