Yep, I’m not sure there are many if any that would let jet take over 1st place instead of being the only guy to beat Jett Lawrence in 2023.
I tried to find the rule that you're referencing, but only found this:
"b. Should a race be stopped after one (1) full lap is complete, the race will be restarted using the
original staging positions for that moto. If a race is stopped after two (2) full laps are complete,
the riders will be staged based on their positions the lap prior to the red flag. The restart will
resume for the time remaining of the 30-minute race. The restart will take place as soon as
possible and within a maximum time of 10 minutes, providing track conditions allow."
Do you know where I can find the rule calling for a gate drop in this scenario?
Ricky said it more than once during the broadcast...the rider must take advantage of the bikes plusses and find a way to manage it's shortcomings.

I quoted the rule from the rulebook. So I guess I just don't understand your comment about it being an inked rule instead of something they did at their own discretion which seems to be the case.
And with this trend, I'm seriously worried about CS23 well being next SX season. Motocross is more forgiving and he finds himself in the dirt every race.

Have you been to Budds? Go there and you will understand. The dirt and layout are truly different. They mostly try to clean up the super high speed stuff. Don't need any horrific crashes on TV.
