Looks like Mr Death took a break from watching the lame stream news and posting the same thing over and over again in the orange man indictment threads to come in here and make sure a good song had some downvotes.
According to who? Your generic assumptions based off your own bias? This echoes what the left has been saying for a long time, the system is rigged against you and the rich just get richer. Before this song the generic response I've heard from the right to any complaint about the systems at work against us in the US was "if you don't like it here then leave". Now that everyone is hurting this song seems to hit the right nerve for just about everyone.
I hate all country music equally and without bias!
CNN is running a story how this song is an angry Conservative song.
While it is a Folk style protest song against the "system " it has a universal appeal .
It's getting positive YT reactions from people all over the world including ethnic minorities.
Just not from liberal leaning media.
Go ahead and down vote me TD21 but am I wrong?
top results - checks out. 3 out of 5 have it in the headline.
The left being a champion for the working class has sailed a while ago…
Nope.
“The left” hates this song lmao. Read this editorial and let me know what you think. It reads like satire

I was confused why the left hated the song- tax the rich, pay your fair share, millionaires and billionaires. Sounds like he's on the same page as them. 😄
Here is why the left doesn't like it...it exposes their playbook...
He calls out welfare abuse and doesn't think tax payers should pay for an obese persons Fudge sticks...The left love having people stuck on the government teet...if they have to force tax payers to pay for junk food to keep their electorate happy, so be it. (Just don't call them out on it).
He called out politicians taking minors to a private island...the left has a guilty conscience...
He called out big government for wanting to control all aspects of our lives...the left wants that...they just don't want it shouted from the rooftops.
He called out the ridiculous taxes we pay in this country...the left loves to tax EVERYONE! (and blame it on the right)
Anyway...they are trying to discredit the song...and if it doesn't go away soon, they'll start trying to discredit him...They can't ignore the message, so they'll start attacking the source...
Prove it.
It's not country, give it a listen
Tell us you didn't listen to the song without telling us.
Number 1 on iTunes.
Pit Row
Speaking of taxes, I have a close co-worker in Ontario (originally from India), is looking to move out of Canada. His wife and his salary puts them in a 50% tax bracket- for that they get shitty schools and crappy healthcare. His wife recently went in for some health issues- she needs an MRI. Next available appt is 2026. Luckily they live near the US border which is lined with MRI clinics.
Anyways, they have decided to move to TX..
Lets hope they vote accordingly.
Hold up:
You’re telling me you can listen to Zach Bryan “Burn, Burn, Burn” while absolutely not melting into the song and feeling only hate?
If ever there was a song for a movement this is it. This song is resonating with everyday Americans from all walks of life.
It says we're fed up with government bullshit.... right and left. Those who hate this song/message, hate America. It's as simple as that.
Mr Anthony has real talent. Been a long time since I heard such a deeply heartfelt song. This guy is as real as it comes.
Look at this social media post.
Pretty damn sad that this post would get a thumbs down.
I think the current US political climate is a joke myself. The right wants to use The Handmaid's Tale as a political playbook and the left is so dissolved in spending money and identity politics it has no real direction. But show me how the current conservative party is for the current working class. They openly want to cut every social welfare program in existence, including social security. There is no plan I see from conservatives that actually addresses the majority of US citizens struggling right now. My local town FB group is FILLED with openly conservative voters giving each other advice on local rent assistance, food banks, food stamps, EBD, Medicaid, and WIC while their elected officials do everything they can to close these programs down. We are the richest country in the freaking world. We spend more on the military than the next 10 countries combined, all but one of those are allies. We can afford to take care of our people but both sides fail to even scratch the surface. No matter who you voted for if you proudly wear around your political beliefs like they are working for the people in this country you are wrong.
Oliver Anthony Says He’s Turned Down Offers Worth Millions After Going Viral, Doesn’t Want ‘Spotlight’
https://www.dailywire.com/news/oliver-anthony-says-hes-turned-down-offe…
“People in the music industry give me blank stares when I brush off $8 million offers,” Lunsford wrote. “I don’t want 6 tour buses, 15 tractor trailers, and a jet. I don’t want to play stadium shows, I don’t want to be in the spotlight.”
“I wrote the music I wrote because I was suffering with mental health and depression,” he added. “These songs have connected with millions of people on such a deep level because they’re being sung by someone feeling the words in the very moment they were being sung. No editing, no agent, no bulls***. Just some idiot and his guitar. The style of music that we should have never gotten away from in the first place.”
The fact that a specific group of people are so against a song that has no political affiliation tied to it whatsoever, that's about working yourself to death and being taken advantage of by your own government, is pretty telling.
The truth is that if America wasn't hurting, a simple song like this would not have this kind of impact.
I almost knew before reading, his long response was heartfelt and honest and then ruined with the very ironic ending talking about God and "false idols". Sorry humans, but you have the ability to make better decisions and be a better person, it's not beamed or inherited from some false idol in the sky.
I read the lyrics.
Much easier to connect with his words.
I gotta say, he's right on the money.
Nothing more enraging than standing in line at the grocery store while in front of you some 350lb land whale buys a shit ton of doritos, prepackaged crap, and other bullshit.
Only to watch them pull out the red, white, and blue credit card, charge it all to me, then waddle out using the grocery cart like a walker, holding their fat ass upright.
Yup. Your just blind to your political bias.
