How old is Cody Cooper? I feel like I remember him trying to qualify at Budds in ‘08 on an RM.

Insane that Ukraine is sending a team.

In 2008 he was a podium guy in Pro Motocross...

The info i got at last czech national round was a bit different.

250: Vítězslav Marek/Julius Mikula

450s: Jakub Terešák/Petr Polák/Jan Wagenknecht

But... Wagenknecht allegedly reinjured his knee so who knows... Kovář is back after almost 2 years dealing with back pain and not riding. He was always fast but his fitness is not yet there... also he is riding on 2smoke whole year and it's not the most reliable thing in his hands. It would be rad to represent the 2stroke taliban but the safest picks (if healthy) are MX1: Terešák, MX2: Mikula, OPEN: Polák.

The ultimate goal is to qualify directly. B-final is brutal.

Unfortunately Petr Polak got injured in early august with dislocated shoulder, broken collarbone (other side), bruised lung, broken ribs and concussion. While he allready had a kneeinjury (acl & meniscus). It's why he missed the last GP rounds.

Oh so he is done for this season? If so it is bummer. His results were not great but top10 moto finish this season could not have been out of the question. In mx2 there are like 8 factory guys behind the gate on average. Just look at what Pancar is doing this year.

Usually Unadilla is the announcement. I must've missed the revised time when they are going to announce it. Hopefully Budds this weekend.

There were younger teams. Geerts is 23, Liam 19 and Coenen is 17? That's 59. If I remember correctly, Norway in 2019 sent 2x 16 year olds (Fredrisken and Tondel) and a 18 year old (Horgmo) to Assen, that's 50 in total. Probably there were younger ones. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Even Team Latvia will be younger if Reisulis brothers and Jonass goes. 15 + 17 +26= 58

I hope so...  He likes the event, would be hanging out with Roger and would get more time on the bike in race conditions.

I think they're just checking to see where Barcia is on the bike...  Unadilla didn't help his cause.

Nice but with Reneaux back do you think they will pick him over Febvre or Reneaux?

Febvre is not a question mark for 2023 MXoN actually. The second 450 spot on the french team will be between Renaux and Ferrandis, I would say.

I’m thinking if Sexton goes it’ll be on a red bike. Honda have said they’d support it, just up to KTM if they’d approve. If Roger wants to give the US their best chance, he should allow it.

I suspect that’s correct.  Although personally, I don’t think the bike would make that much difference.

I hope he decides to do it.

France is an elite team no matter who they send. Febvre is a shoe-in. Vialle/Benistant, Renaux/Ferrandis... any choice is the good choice.

Yeah I guess either way they would be fine. I don't think Ferrandis likes Febvre very much, not sure if that is going to play a role.
Vialle back on a Euro KTM should be an easy choice as well

Are they blaming some of Vialles struggles on having to ride on the stock chassis?  I have been surprised at his performance outdoors, definitely expected a lot more from him.  I know the 250 field is pretty tough, but I thought he would consistently be in the top 4 or 5 given how he looked in the GPs the last few years (I know it can take some time to adapt).

A healthy Reneaux over ferrandis would be the wise choice for france. I could also see AC showing up for team Italy. Team USA

sexton/ plessinger/deegan

Herlings has broken his collarbone, so no Jett, Herlings faceoff at the MXoN.

Doubt both of the brothers are going, the younger brother will probably be swapped with Bidzans, he's a bit stronger. But that's just a wild guess.

On the podium at Budds it sure sounded like it’ll be Plessinger and Barcia on the 450s for Team USA. I’d imagine the 250 goes to Deegan if he wants it. If he doesn’t … maybe RJ if he’s healthy. After that, who knows?
