I'm a fan! I just need a 2 Stroke version.
ML, did they say when the 2024 250 and 450 will be available?
250 is October.
Pic of fork compression adjuster?

Somehow, that front fender looks better than the one on the 2023 450.
2024 YZ250F | Yamaha Motorsports USA
What about 250fx?
I disagree. I Think it looks just as bad.
Will be updated for 2025.
Kinda surprised the engine isn't really updated, aside from the ecu. Not that it needs it but I just expected an all new engine also. Looks about 2-3lbs lighter, overall. Love the retro scheme.
Hey....at least the white one doesn't have purple rims!
Damn that's a sexy bike. Thank god the manufacturers have done away with the white rear fender trend
It's an option

Personally, I would rather have seen a version like Leshers YZ250 smoker. This bike is gorgeous....
Pretty much a seat cover and the simplest graphic kit ever and you are there... after you drop the extra $200 for the white 50th aniv edition.
Gold wheels.
Haven't wanted a Yamaha in a long time but this thing is yummy
Pit Row
So why no new clutch setup like 450 got last year? It made the 450 engine smaller and less weight. More durable I believe since it got a steel basket like the ktm.
Fair enough. And the FMF pipe.
Yamaha should make an OW version for their 50th.
They've already done that in 2016 for the company's 60th
I want one………..but I want one of just about every brand made!!
I don't remember that one but I was thinking more like the Kawi SR edition (and the others) with performance upgrades on top of any graphic treatment.
Where’s the 350??
Agreed, i'd like to see an OW version.
Admittedly, I'm a little biased. I had an 87 YZ250.
That's why Leshers is such a draw for me.
Me and mine.
What’s the general consensus on the traction and launch control? Gimmicky or actually useful?
Contributes to the ever increasing loss of actual skills related to riding/racing.
Just like metal start grates, starting blocks, holeshot devices, rev limiter lights....
Looks like Boney in back of first pic.
Yeah that’s why racers are so much slower and less skilled today…
Same engine, clutch and gear ratio new chassis but not a "new bike"
