I think Herlings wants to race the full US outdoor season... I don't think KTM is interested.
He would have to get injured at the perfect time for that to even be an option. Even then it would be hard to do.
Now THAT! would be some cool stuff to see, looks like somebody is stepping up to challenge Jett's dominance and end his perfect season.
Give us something to make this 450 season not be a total loss....

But I don't think it will happen. He is KTM's's only MXGP rider and they need him for next year.

Herlings always has an eye on any outdoor rounds that don't clash, so I guess this isn't exactly anything new.

KTM, Gasgas and Husqvarna have ware house of non used race bikes waiting someone to ride.. Imagine that company just have Plessinger as solo rider for all summer.

On 450's he went 2-1 & 1-3 and 250's he went 4-6, 5-10 & 13-12
We have wildly different definitions of spectacular.
Jett is having a spectacular 450 rookie season.
Chase is damn good at the Shoug.

Jett? A 7-2 P4 and a win without winning a moto in that same time frame. It's clear you're elevating Jett and not looking at what the 450 class is this year... he's been remarkable, but it hasn't been the AMA's most stellar 450 class....
Chase on a 250? Irrelevant. So yeah, we have different definitions of spectacular... Yours seems to be a bit biased.
Maybe, but he actually bought a plane ticket to come here earlier this year to race. I think he did it before anyone gave him permission at KTM though.

Why is it good to have Herlings come over? Jett needs some consistently fast guys to race... He's been outstanding, but if you're unwilling to be objective and look at the details, you're not looking at reality. And hey I like Jett and think he's got a shot still of the undefeated season. Chase next week will be his biggest threat in my opinion...
And of course a healthy JH is always a threat. Who doesn't want to see that?
Just take a second and look at what the 450 class was vs is (or at least how it started)...

Yes, my opinion is biased as in biased in reality. I'm basing strictly on numbers. I didn't know we could throw out 60% of his races at a track because they were irrelevant. Chase is damn good there and there is a really good chance he stops the streak.
It's almost comical that you say I'm biased but then say throw out Chase's 250 results but Jett's are relevant. SMDH
