Deegan is the only logical choice I see for mx2. Kitchen I think would rise to occasion but with him leaving the team doesn’t make much sense

1 thing i don't get with usa. They want to send the team and bikes and everything else. And then shit gets expensive.
What all the other countries do is loan bikes from other teams. Wasn't there like 15 star Yamaha's at redbud mxon getting used by guys from all different countries. And the price was surprisingly cheap. Was it 3k or something?
If anderson wants to race and usa kawi doesn't.
Pay the euro krt a few grand. And take your suspension, some stickers and some parts you like and race there bike.

Why would a brand switch put Chase out if he wanted to go? His new boss is Roger and if Roger wanted him to go via selecting him, why not go? Limited time on the new bike? Sure, but even then he's still by far the fastest US 450 rider with experience. I don't care what color bike, I want Sexton in as long as he wants to compete and represent the US. Sexton has to be at the top of the list for the US.
Justin Cooper was supposed to be getting married on the original MXdN dates in October 22nd and thus he was going to be out for sure, but the race dates were changed to 2 weeks earlier back in February. Does that mean he's still a possibility? If so, put him on a 450 and Deegan on a 250.
Because the last race is one week before MXDN....So Chase would race the SMX final on Saturday and jump on the KTM for 2-3 days and go race the MXDN....the only way he goes is if Honda and KTM agree to let him race his Honda...
Coopers wedding date is the new date not the old one

Cooper originally set his wedding date so that he could go, but the change actually changed the race to his wedding date, so now he CAN'T go.
I'm in on Sexton for MX1, new bike or not. And if Barcia is back riding well, sign him up for MX3. And if Deegan keeps doing what he's doing now? He's in too.
I'll take Masterpool or Justin Cooper on a 450 all day over RJ.
Good thing Roger is team USA manager then. If he wants to win, allowing Sexton to ride the Honda is a must.

That team could do great or absolutely terrible, no inbetween. I like RJ and AP but for one off races they are probably the worst kind of rider to pick. I would nt be surprised if they won a race or were outside the top 10.

Well, Sexton says he WANTS to race MXdN in France this year in his post race podcast. His new boss is going to be DeCoster. Seems to me like that is still a very viable possibility. Just comes down to how well he gels with the new bike, or if he can race the Honda.
The remaining current 450 riders are pretty weak at the moment. When you have a less than 100% (call it 85-90%) Sexton still recovering from Mono and still beating the rest of the US riders by 30-45 seconds a race, tells you the 450 class is not up to par.
Not sure on the rest of the team. Lots of options, albeit not obvious options.
Sexton and Cooper, then either deegan, RJ or barcia (he should be good to go by then).

So sexton never had mono. If was a false positive. So he should be pretty much 100% just a few weeks behind from not racing.
