Hi Guys! I am looking to travel east & get some riding in the humidity in preparation for Loretta's. I work so i'll be working out of my camper M-F. Can usually finish work prettyyy early to ride a few days a week as long as I plan properly. All these facilities ride like 8-1 or 9-2 on weekdays & $100-150 per day...seems tough for me to swing that. Maybe i could go do a day or two at Tapt House but do not believe i'll be able to do 2-3 weeks.
I'm considering just staying around the Dallas area & riding 2 weekdays then weekends for the next few weeks.
What is currently happening for weekday riding around the TX/OK area?
Oak Hill is usually open Weds 4-8. Village Creek is open Thursday evening and Badlands is open Weds but they're both hardpack tight night tracks. Buffalo Creek was opening on Thursday until 8 but not sure if they're still doing it...that'd be a decent place.
I think His 956 is only open mornings.
Thanks! Oak hill would be solid to ride. Buffalo Creek is good too, i've been there before. I could maybe swing 1 morning a week & just try to work after! Sounds like good opportunities.

oak hill, river valley and village creek are all good tracks but I dont think any of them are open early in the week. I have never been to 956, but looks like you can schedule ride days based on their site. Office MX is private, but im sure someone on here might be able to help you out with that one. Trophy club is a state park, as far as I know they are open every day to ride, mostly trail type riding, but they do have races out there. if you could stay in the Grapevine/Keller/Roanoke area you'd be right in the middle of all those tracks, safe area to park a van as well
Look up FU facility. It’s in west Texas, message him and see if yall can work something out.
Underground mx practices day track on Wednesdays sometimes. Probably the best track in texas.
Yeah I actually know Kenny the track maintenance guy but I’m trying to further east to get into the humidity. West Texas is about as desert as here
Underground is sick! I’ve been there a lot. Thanks!
If you want humidity go to Houston. Three Palms has multiple tracks to ride plus there are other tracks around Houston you can ride during the week. I grew up racing in Houston and now live and race around Dallas but Houston humidity is more on the level of Lorettas than Dallas (IMO).
$100 to $150 per day? I guess everything is bigger in Texas.
I lived in Houston for quite a few years. 3 palms typically doesn’t get very rough unless it’s a LLQ or big race. I’d ride Texas Tornado if I went to Houston though. Little far out of the way. Buttt yeah I’m looking at all the options. Maybe end up in houston.
At the facilities yes. They want to do like training. Not just Texas either. Oklahoma same way. I just want to ride decent/rough tracks in the humidity so pay my $30-40 & get some motos in. I found a few places that might fit my needs!
If someone wants to ride hot and humid, Ultimate MX in Alvin Texas is about as hot and humid as Texas gets. It prepped everyday and open everyday u less something has changed.
100-150 a day whoa. Denmark Mx just outside of Green Bay 200 for a yr. Rolling hills, hard pack, only time it’s worked is for a non ama race. Mon closed otherwise ride every day Sunday closed at 1pm. A 2nd track is available also it’s flat tho.
You are welcome to ride at my track anytime if you are headed to LLs. Not prepped, but I can guarantee it will be hot and humid.
Can anyone from Texas tell me the name of these two tracks? First one probably isn’t there anymore as it was built in the corner of some guys corn field, small scale sx track. The second and third photo, if I remember correctly, had a small wood building for signup area. Had a bigger track out back. Both tracks in the Dallas/ ft worth area. 2003/2004 time frame.
Bottom 2 are Village creek. Not sure on the other
