He didn't move for ages. I was honestly fearing the worst. To see him wave at the crowd whilst being stretchered out was a huge relief. Any updates on him would be cool!

He debuted the year I was born which is crazy to think that some of the greatest battles (ricky,chad,james) were happening when i was 1 and 2 and i get to go back and watch some of them now. Man how great of a time it would have been to be a fan back then.

The guy was legitimately one of the fastest motocross riders in the world for years. When he was on Suzuki in 08-09 he was boder line top3 450 MX rider in the world.
I realised as he rode past us in the pits, that it had been 20 years since i saw him ride for the first time, him and Jeff raced the Honda Supermoto class for kids at Laguna Seca as part of the first ever AMA Supermoto race.
I didnt see him fall , but i watched him lie there for an awful long time.. it wasnt great .
Sounds like he is only concussed, but badly, which is great to hear , as i feared much worse.

He should never race anything the same time as Red Bud.
Looks like he was fine after hitting the ground, but that other rider hitting his helmet as he rode by is what knocked him out cold. Similar to Webb and AC. From that other angle it looked like he was trying to cross 4 lanes of traffic with no turn signal.
Sadly not the first time for Mike. Unfortunately he has some experience with this type of situation.
