When did Osborne roost Tomac?  Like two times before he blew by and beat him by 30 seconds?

Freakin love Zach , and when he won the outdoor 450 title....it was definitely his year.  But he never raced and beat a fully healthy Tomac. May win some battles , but the records speak for themself.

If Eli comes back in 2024 , even more dialed than he was this year....others on the gate better pray for an in injury or bike failure. What is happening right now in that class outdoors, is NOT anything close to what it has been the past 8 - 10 years.

Love ya Zach , but you should probably STFU.

I've seen Tomac catch a few face fulls, lol.

First pic had Marv swing from the inside to out right in front of him railing the outside with a big whack back at him.  Look at the size of the some of the rocks flying in the second. Pinch

A bizarre take by Zacho for sure. If you're spending most of your time thinking about how you can roost the guy behind you the most, I doubt you're gonna stay in front of them for very long. Perhaps he was eating your roost because of what AC was saying in the first place.

Zach O seems like a great guy but he routinely has terrible takes on twitter.

Zach is free to give his opinion on a subject. Wouldn't be that serious other than Eli felt strongly enough to tweet for the first time in 3yrs to correct him

Okay yeah, I think the one dude saying he should STFU is a bit extreme but if anybody (you and I included) makes a public comment, it's open to critique or criticism from everybody else in the public. It's kind of the entire purpose of Twitter/social media/forums/etc. Doesn't mean Zach is a POS or whatever but there can be valid pushback or disagreements. Just 'cause he's a professional athlete doesn't mean everything he says is gospel. That goes for everyone else as well, just like I can assume you will disagree with this comment and that's fine.

Part of the fun of posting on here is that it's not an echo chamber and different opinions and arguments can be had. So as long as it's civil it's fine IMO but I do agree saying ZO should shut the fuck up is a bit unnecessary and crosses the line between voicing your opinion vs shit posting in the comments.

If Eli couldn't deal with roost he'd not have many wins. In fact if you ranked percentage of wins by career, come from behind or near the front, he's gotta be a league leader with come from behind by percentage, along with RV and LaRocco.

Eli has been a one-man army against the Aldon squad for so many years. Dungey, Marvin, Zacho... it was always just him vs them for titles. There's a natural rivalry there.

Interesting take by Osbourne never heard anyone say roost a rider to win, I guess he thinks of all aspects to steal a win, just like he did to savatgy.

Not a chance in hell.
Your witnessing the changing of the gaurd.

It happens extremely quick in this sport.

Full credit to number 3 for his accomplishments but the new class is here...and more coming next year when you hope he returns.

These guys arnt injured...and they sure as shit are not waiting for Eli.

They are young, fit and fast as fuck.

As I say, credit where it's due but it looks to me like he's got a rude awakening ahead of him and there's no getting around it.

Tomac was talking retirement last year at Washougal on the podium.  It was a miracle that he was going to do the outdoors this year before he did the Achilles, lost the supercross title, and was DNS for the outdoors.  The idea that he would come back next year, a year AFTER he wanted to retire-and from an injury to boot-with all the new fast hungry young guys is a bridge too far for me to cross.  And it breaks my heart to say that because watching him ride was like watching beautiful and violent poetry in motion.  But it is the temporary nature of these things that make them precious, and we were lucky to witness his career.

Win or lose, I could see him coming back for SX only next year, if for no other reason than to retire on his terms, and not because of an injury.

SX and WSX in 2024 IF he returns.

This was his 2023 plan before he was pressured by a panicked US MX establishment to commit to the full 31 round deal.

I'll agree with you that "changing of the guard" happens every so often. However, you're acting like Eli had some piss poor results and then got hurt. This guy has been dominating and then got hurt. Don't sleep on his skills, training and desire to win. If he comes back, it won't be some half baked attempt and he has the skills to be on top still. Don't fool yourself.

You can add Anderson to that list as well, when El Hombre21 won the 2019 SX 450 championship while at the Baker factory

It's a gnarly injury recovery wise by all accounts, but I thought the same as you, the rumour mill was saying Tomac's particular injury wasn't as bad as they first thought (relatively of course).

Being an optimist at least as far as racing goes, I'm also in the could see / hope to see camp, we know the Tomacs know recovery, health and fitness, training and all that good stuff as well as anyone 👍

I've seen you - and only you - have this take multiple times. You don't know what you're talking about, but I admire your imagination.

Feel free to find some evidence to support your claims. I have a feeling you will just spew some more conspiracy nut dribble, though 😉
