De Anza?
1998… who were the big hitters at that time in the four strokes?
Perry Leask, Russ Jarman, Stacy Harman, Tom Fuller?
Dude... Vertemati, there's a blast from the past, that was a fucking trick bike.
I remember getting filled in, repeatedly, by one of those black and silver VOR 503's at a practice track in Somerset as a kid, that thing churned up more dirt than most tractors could have.

Best thread on Vital at the moment. My ex-wife took all of my youth mx & bmx photo albums with her when she left (for no good reason lol) and I never saw them again. Thank god for the internet so if I piss off my current wife I can just go to my cloud for pics lol. I wish today's moto scene was as fun and cool as the 90's. Now it just seems so corporate and bland compared to that really fun era.
I agree the nineties were a great time for moto.
Had CR250"s from the Hall of Fame 87CR250 to the Honda Buck days from 89-93. Those were great bikes and cleaned up on Honda$$.
Then the 1st aluminum frame 97 came out and even though it got a bad rap, I liked it for the most part, especially after I had Factory Connection do the suspension.
The motor was the class of the field.
Ahhh, Speedworld. Good memories, RIP.
This could almost qualify for the "Show us your 80's pix". This is 1993 on an ATK 605. It was the very last of the California-built machines and is still in my collection.
Honda Hills 1996 (probably)
Assorted 90's I bled blue.. Well white
Did someone say kidney belt haha
So many Great pics. But this one is so stylish & sick. 92 RM125 fender tap probably into a rear brake tap. I bought a new 92 rm125 so fun& easy to ride.
Pit Row
Carlsbad horseshoe turn and upper pit. What's an EZ up ? Never heard of it
1993
Back when my wife used to go and take pictures before she got over it lol. Rare holeshot (for me) at a Carlsbad OTMX race. This was 99'. Starting gate
I'm 5 spots left of the doghouse on a 97' KX250 (white plastic #37)
Joking around waiting with #37 Dennis Rosenberg (RIP) on a "New" YZF400 thumper. Dennis is the guy who got a lot of us San Clemente surf punks to try MX. He sold me the KX when he got the 4 stroke. 83 is Drew Immitti on a 200SX
Starting to catch the lappers by the time she got back to the truck to take this one, or I got smoked I don't remember lol
#950 Pro Ride Phil being chased by #692 Carl Foley (RIP)
Love this thread, let's see some more photos!
My user name pic. At a round of the 1990 British Nationals at an awesome track that is now a golf course ..
Wish I could turn the clock back , absolutely best days of my life.
1999 RM 125 hitting my triple on the backyard practice track.
80cc 14-15 class
Had to be 1990 or 1991.
Asheville Ag Center 1992. 1992 RM125 just before the Thanksgiving wkd AX series kicked off. Fun stuff in C class on this day.
Some random ones in Washington State.
ahead of your time with the large #4
Great track; loved the night races.
I had been riding forever before I finally got "fast" in the '90s. That's my decade, for sure!
