Coming from the GP's to the Nationals or from the Nationals to the GP's will have a learning curve, unless you're Herlings I guess. Just ask RV2.
I think the next 2 years this class is gonna become the Deegan/Hymas show. I think they both progress past Kitchen/Hampshire/Shimoda etc.
Solid but that was after starting up front. Now coming from a bit further back and passing people is another story and hanging with hunter for a bit
I agree with this but be careful mentioning RV's GP stint around here, you'll have half the board jumping down your throat saying he was out of it and wasn't trying
Especially when you consider his history of how he rides when he doesn't get a holeshot
Having over an hour of time on the bike and being able to learn the tracks before the actual racing begins like in the MXGP vs. instantly starting with a timed qualfying session while only having one lap to learn the track is probably the biggest thing to overcome. It shows in the second motos that Vialle just needs time to adapt to these tracks. I think if he figures that out he could maybe even win an overall at the last rounds. And even if not, he will be a different guy next year I'm sure about that.

Ken fell off and took a minute to get his bike started and still beat factory KTM mud rider AP7......
I think he actually passed him after getting going again. Not a good look.
