Start running! Or walking!
AA county 🤔
Prepare yourself for the line of females waiting for you back at your truck after every moto.
Also prepare yourself for the onslaught of 350 riders telling you you should have bought a tree-fiddy!
Ride a gear high and remember slow is fast.

Take the time to learn the bike. Don't try rushing it. It's easier to ride, but remember you can hit the ground a lot faster and harder if you don't respect it. Get the suspension setup for you and enjoy!
Correct spring rates and upshift
Watch vids of Jett Lawrence. Do everything he does.
I want to see the pic of you on the TTR125.
Set the proper spring rates.
Go out, take your time and have a lot of fun.
Don't give a flying fuck what anyone says.
Use the positive experience to feel good about yourself and bring more positivity into your life.
Have fun.
Don't care what negativity people can bring, remember, you are out riding when haters on the internet aren't doing anything other than perpetuating bad vibes.
Joking or not, this is the kind of shit that adds to the publics perception of us and keeps them away from our sport.
Baby steps you can't be a hero overnight you have to respect the 450 they can bite you quick!
Man respectfully if you're 350 pounds right now at 6'1" and not playing nose tackle, I'd focus more on living a healthy lifestyle and getting below 300 pounds than I would on how to handle a 450.
I hear you, and I'm not arguing as you're clearly being civil and not being a tool 👍 But it may well be a part of the process, a sport you're passionate about can be an excellent motivator for developing some fitness.
Also back to the OP, this just jogged my memory of a question I meant to ask, Big Guy thread started elsewhere. No offense or disrespect from me either, if you're having fun I'm 100% on board and hope you enjoy the new bike bro 🤘
Spring rates!
tree fiddy … the bike not your weight!
Smooth, no need to rev it out
Don't chop your throttle on the face of jumps until you're in the air. Decompression braking will remind you very quickly why you don't.
Gyroscopic effect is real and you will feel it when heavy braking and pitching it into corners.
Great 1st post!
Pit Row
Just have fun and take it easy bud. I'm a big guy too and when we hit the ground it's a guaranteed injury, still doing PT for a shredded shoulder after an OTB 18 months ago. Last big get off before that was an OTB '07 opposite shoulder, same result.
Just have fun. Slow or fast. No one cares at the track really
Wide open 450,s handle better if you ride them like 125,s. Use lower gears & keep it on the rev limiter . Use smooth clutch action & pay attention to line choice. Protect the inside because there’s always a 125 that will sneak inside of ya.
Have a local shop bang it in 3rd for you and your good to go.
How does a local shop bang it in third? Sounds dope.
2nd is to snappy, 4th is too fast. Just leave it in 3rd and rip it
Look up motomike894 on tiktok. Dude is close to 400 pounds and sends it better than half of vital
Are you serious ? That fat dude can’t ride for shit then half of vital are really bad 😂. Damn have some dignity for the people here ✊
Mike is on here too. Seems like a good dude and can ride the hell out of a bike.
The 450 will be easy to ride. If you can ride a 250 2 stroke the 4 stroke will be super easy to lug around
Also, if you can't tell just by the photos that he has skill, then definitely watch the videos. The dude is no joke.
