It's been raining here in Colorado springs everyday for the last couple of weeks.
Don't know how it looks up there?

It looks like it’s not going to rain Saturday man.
Biblical
How's the dirt at the track? Does it hold water or does the water run off?
It's on a hillside that has runoff, I suspect if it doesn't rain much on Saturday the track will be great.
Lakewood had a MUDSLIDE a couple years back (Before the race) and with the water we have had It will be dangerous up on the hill.
Overcast for the better part of the day.....so far

It's Monday, really?
Thanks, this helps.
Selfishly, I'm concerned about Friday for amateur day.
This cool weather has been really nice and the thunderstorms are very scattered.
it will not be a mudder. I live spitting distance away and can say no matter what happens this week it will be a great course. Unless the management really wants to fuck up everything, and just say fuck it. Not likely. More likely is that this will be one of the last races at this venue as housing markets encroach, get it while you can.
It's been the wettest spring I can remember here, but that's not saying much compared to how much it rains in much of the country. The track is hilly enough that I don't think it'll be super sloppy, some mud is likely. The ground is pretty saturated.
I was in the Denver area last week and while it rained every day, it was very scattered and light. Didn't affect my outdoor plans at all.
Raced the leadville 100 for a few years.
Everytime I drove out there I wondered how long that track would survive being on such prime real estate.
Urban sprawl is killing us.

That sucks.
Yup. Hope it is dry Saturday 👍
No joke. I stayed at an airbnb that was in a brand new McMansion subdivision and they were prepping across the highway to build another, spreading closer to the mountains.
They trucked in a lot of dirt while prepping the track over the last week.
More like loads of 🐄 🐮 💩 💩.
That will make the track nice, just hold your breathe if you take a soil sample.
Pit Row
Bandimere closing has nothing to do with Thunder Valley Motocross. I am surrounded by open space and a shooting range. No houses will be built near me. Worse case scenario there will be some industrial buildings in the future but that wont affect me. Next year will be the 20 annual Thunder Valley National and there will be many more after that.
We had a dealer meeting in Denver years ago and rode out at TV. There were some trails set up across the road for an off road loop. Some guy on a mountain bike had an epic meltdown. I mean like dude went on for a good 10 minutes. We just watched amused which seemed to just piss him off even more.
yeah like were neighbors, but given the constant encroachment one can only wonder at how long until...
Personally, I think its a shame that Bandimere is set to close. I mean you decided to move into an area that is basically freeway, open space, and motorized racing, so then deal with the "noise".
I look forward to many Thunder Valley Nationals, but I also wonder about its future.
It was a question for the folks that live near the track.
Don't you have a exorcism on dust bunnies to perform?
Someone's triggered and bored.
Meanwhile here in the springs
Looks Biblical 👍
Hey Bill, meanwhile at Thunder Valley 😎
See you tomorrow at the race?!?
Looks like they got the right amount of biblical rain that they needed!!!
the terms mud, mudder, smoker (unless it’s an actual bbq cooking grill), get’rdone, and similar vernacular are to be stricken from all Vital content henceforth
These fellas are getten'r done! 🤣
Man now I want some ribs…
