Tried something new this time. Overlayed the phone app ontop of my ride session. Thought you guys might want to see that!
Roughly 100% of the feedback on these bikes that are supposedly in production and shipping has come from Customer #1. Who also happens to provide a lot of free publicity on social media.
I wonder if Customer #1 was just some regular guy in Nebraska, if he would have been invited for a VIP tour in Europe and received his bike so far ahead of everyone else.
We are now about 5 weeks since the production and shipping announcement. WHERE ARE ALL THE BIKES? I have nothing against Stark or Customer #1, but something smells fishy here.
What would you suggest is happening?
I don’t think it’s great strategy to ship a bike to one customer, even if they are well-known in the E bike world and have social media platforms that allow them to post content about the bike.
It’s not surprising either but I guess I understand it at some level too
I've been generally supportive of Stark in these threads, but I do think their big announcement that customer bikes had begun shipping was disingenuous at best. Bryan more or less unwittingly confirmed at the time he received his bike no other customer bikes had shipped.
I'll also say at first I thought Bryan.was knowingly a part of a Stark engineered promotional campaign, now I believe he is unknowingly a part of a Stark engineered promotional campaign. They found the perfect guy to be customer #1.

I haven't confirmed anything. I'm just not aware of any other paying customer receiving a bike yet amongst all the Varg forums and channels i am a part of. That is all.
I agree with a lot of what you said other then stark finding him to be ‘customer1’. He explains how he was the first customer on the matthes pod today.
If they are coming on a ship then it can take a couple months to get in and cleared. I remember somebody from Stark saying that hey may fly some early bikes over . I would guess that Bryans bike was one of those and hopefully the ones coming via ship in a container will show up soon.
It's really not a big deal, at least to me. I just thought out of everything that has been thrown at Stark in these ridiculous threads that was one area that I kind of agree with the detractors.
FYI you said yours shipped with the wrong charger, but Stark had already made sure that didn't happen on any other customer deliveries. Which leads me to believe they hadn't shipped any other customer bikes at that time.
I haven't listened to the podcast, but yeah I should rephrase how I said that. I don't think they sought him out, I think he fell in their lap like manna from heaven. lol
Wrong again. Not the wrong charger, but they gave me a charger with a 120v 5-15 input plug on it, and immediately sent me a replacement 240v nema 14-30 plug for 240v charging.
Deep sigh. Ok, let me rephrase. You said yours shipped with a charger with a 120v 5-15 input plug on it which is the wrong input plug, but Stark had already made sure that didn't happen on any other customer deliveries. Which leads me to believe they hadn't shipped any other customer bikes at that time. Better?
Man that looks great. That last picture gives me Motocross Madness 2 feels
Why would they say that they ALREADY made sure that was not going to happen to other customers bikes? If they were not aware of it before he told them. That could mean that they found a flaw in the packing process and changed it after his was packed. It could mean they packed and shipped a container full the same day or day after Bryans was picked up.
Its all just speculation, either could be true or it could be something totally different. If English is not the first language of the person who made the statement , perhaps they phrased it differently than they meant to. I doubt they thought that their words would be analyzed the way they have been.
I'd be happy to be proven wrong, we'll see
Also! Has anyone seen a damn Triumph dirt bike yet? Like, a non grainy non sasquatch like video?
I was just saying its speculation and that You could read into it in other ways too.
You should focus on quality versus quantity.
Or, said another way that you might better understand:

or Bryan's bike was the only one shipped to the US, other bikes may have been shipped to other countries, that require different input plugs.
Pit Row
which is a giant red flag. Why YOU? and where are the rest of the bikes?
It’s the Illuminati, they hid clues about the conspiracy in the Declaration of Independence. They been planning to ship Bryan the only Stark ever for millennia.
You've seen the eye on the dollar bill too, huh?
Bryan being the first customer just seems like a good marketing opportunity for Stark. I’m glad they are smart and took advantage of it. I would imagine they shipped direct to him, much earlier than anyone else because they got a feel for him being a good ambassador. They are working out lots of bugs and headaches this way and educating the masses through a perfect proxy platform in my opinion.
Matthes did a podcast with Brian and he explains everything about being number 1 customer plus issues he has had, it's open and honest
I suspect we would hear about other Vargs landing with customers here not very long after it happened. Word spreads fast. So far - this is the only one in the hands of a customer in the world.
This isn't complicated. They directly shipped the first one out to a guy that is going to give them both publicity and quality feedback, and the rest are on a boat and will be here..... some day..... they can't really tell you when because once it's on a boat it's not in their control.
How many are on a boat is an entirely different question and one that they should be able to answer. The fact that this number isn't being broadcast and that if you order today you might get it a bike in 18 months tells me production is still a big problem, but I wouldn't think they'd send one guy a one off bike just to say they are shipping.
Ok man, I was one of the sceptics when your Stark was on order forever with being a no-show but the more I watch your vids the more I'm coming around to liking the bike. The power and speed seemingly are deceiving because of no real engine noise but it appears the bike has no trouble tackling any jump that was in front of you.
My buddy briefly owned an Alta and I rode it a moto on a sand track and really didn't care for it. It felt bulky and was just weird imo. If Stark starts to actually get these bikes in showrooms here in the states I'll take a serious look at one. I've not done any real riding in a few years because of injuries and the zipper scar going up my back and my doctors strongly advise against it but the Stark may be something I could play around with just for kicks and my wife would not throw a fit or take it serious since it's an "electric bike" lol.
This is ignoring sales to Europe and other areas that aren't delayed by a boat ride.
The last thing you need to worry about is if it can clear jumps , it's way more powerful than a 450 even in 60hp mode , and probably even in 50hp mode , as it has way way more torque than even a factory 450
You follow a lot of French language moto sites? Call it shipping, customs, whatever.... point still stands.
Is it your position that they custom made 1 bike and sent it to a random guy in Southern California as part of some elaborate plot?
He was the first customer to order one so why wouldn't he get the first one off production line?
If someone in Afghanistan ordered the first one it would've went there
Post a reply to: New bike day - Stark Varg has arrived!!!!
