That’s crazy. I was going to contact them because for the last year or so I’ve had oil not setting up and dripping all over my floor. Mine is not Red either, more of a yellow/amber colour. I just thought I was over oiling them. I’ve been using this oil since 2002 or 3 I think. Love it. 

I am having this problem now as well, it was never a problem before. I bought the oil about 6 months ago. I haven't been able the ride much, but it drips off badly. I am hoping it was just a bad batch and when I get another bottle there won't be an issues. I mix it up well before use too.

Last year I had a similar issue after I oiled up a new filter on my 21 yz450. I thought I had an oil leak on the engine lol.... until i figured out that it was dripping from the air filter on hotter days. I started questioning my filter oiling methods and maybe I had put too much on and didnt squeeze out the excess enough, but ive been doing this for 20 yrs lol. It still continued to seep out, but as long as I knew what it was, I wasnt worried about it. Ive been using their products since 2019 and love how easy the air filters cleanup. Im not looking for any freebies, but just sharing that the OP isnt the only one that noticed this.

Bump, does anyone have contact with Ryan.? I've been having issues with the oil running off, and it seems it's not isolated incident. 

Me too. Such a bummer after 20 years. 

I ran mount of my green oil and the local shop only had the red.   I used it on all my bikes and it made a huge mess.   Sticky stuff all over the linkage on my kx450.   Seemed like a screwed up batch or something because I’ve been fine with this stuff for 15 years until now.   

I have had the same issue this year as well , years prior not a problem. 

Funny this is being brought up, as me and another friend were talking about this very same issue last weekend. The red stuff is much more prone to doing this than the green stuff. Can’t oil up a filter and put it on the bike a couple days before riding unless you want to clean up your airbox and whatever else it eventually drips down onto, as well as remove the filter to properly spread the oil out again. Is it because one has alcohol in it and the other doesn’t maybe? It’s extremely annoying, but I still use it because it makes the filters easy to clean.

Up until last week I couldn't even get spray filter oil from anyone.

Love the  No Toil product but had to switch to over priced Twin Air stuff 

I had wondered if I was doing something wrong, so weird after running this stuff for two decades.

While I am not glad everyone is having issues, it made me feel better that I am not going crazy.

It seems they changed the red formulation as , it used to be actually red and lately it is more like orange and seems less sticky. I am back to green and all has been good

I had the same problem with the red, but no issues with the green.  I ended up switching to Maxima FFT. 

Im still having issues even after trying the green oil. I had the oil drip going on my 22 350sxf and left a nice sticky spot on the garage floor. I too liked how easy their product cleaned up, but it might be time to go back to pj1, twin air or maxima. 

Sucks to hear this from you guys. Over two decades of use for me and never one problem. Went through two filters over this weekend using red and still have a spotless airbox/airboot. 

I use the green. It will drip off the filter unless you really squeeze it out. Even then it still wants to drip. If it wasn’t for the easy clean, I’d run twin air oil. Hopefully they can perfect it to be more tacky and stick to the filter.

I use maxima too. I oil 6 at one time and probably takes me 4-8 weeks to go through them all and never had a problem. 

Ryan has unfortunately moved on from the No Toil family business. He is still helping out occasionally but has a new full time gig. 

How easy is it to clean the maxima oil?

It’s not. That’s why it works so good. Stickiest god damn substance on earth. 

What a coincidence,  posted about this in the tech chat earlier today. Had no idea this post existed. I’m also moving on from No Toil. Bittersweet as I have used them for years and love the easy cleanup. Just sick of the oil running everywhere and my filters drying up.

I purchased a jug of the Red earlier this summer as my regular supplier didn't have the green at the time.

It definitely likes to leak everywhere, all the way back to the rear axle along the swingarm a couple times with what i feel was similar application like i have always done.

I'm just going to switch back to the green going forward, I'll never use anything else.

I also switched but I went with Belray and have been extremely happy with the results.  Plus the blue matches the frame on my husky so I get 3 extra vet dude points.
