if people dont think Johnny O wont have jett fit & strong enough for outdoors on a 450.. your crazy..
I'm going with AP7 for the 450's and Cooper and RJ battling for the 250 title. Call me crazy. But I think AP is still pissed about throwing the win away in Detroit, contract is up, and the outdoors has always suited him well. He has something to prove this season. I'll say it again people are sleeping on AP. But if Justin Cooper was on a 450 he would be my pick.
Cooper Webb... this is his shot for an outdoor title and he has the Katoom figured out now.
Bro, most of the pro SX/MX guys are like horse jockey size, compared to most. Dean, Malcom, Eli and Chase are few that are not so “petite”.
Im picking AP to grab the overall this weekend in 450. He’s hungry and has been working hard this year.

Jett is amazing, and one of the title favourites, but he's still a rookie. I see his rookie season being one of blazing speed marred by small mistakes. It's equally likely that he crushes it at Pala or he has the speed to crush it at Pala but gets second because of tip overs and bad judgement calls.
Fluck me. Jett is tall and strong and growing into his man body. He hammered Ferrandis last time they raced, and that was at Pala. Ferrandis won the 450 outdoors the next year: as rookie.
Jett humiliated Sexton* last year at MXON on a barely sorted 450 and will do it again this year.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Jett or Dylan win. Chase might have been more focused on riding SX for longer since he had a shot at the Title. While Dylan might have been full on MX for months now. And Jett had a seemingly easy win of his SX title so perhaps he too got an earlier start on the outdoors too.
I just hope everybody stays healthy and nobody runs away with the series. As cool as it was to watch RC dominate and watch the amazing things JS did . The past few seasons have been much more exciting to watch. Not knowing who was going to win, there being a handful of guys able to win races this year in SX.
Is Roczen doing the first round? I thought he said he was going to do some of them still. Before he pulled off in the last SX.
Save this post. If you are wrong come back and eat crow. If you are right come back and get kudos for being correct. No excuses either way.
450: Jett, Chase, Dylan, AC, AP
250: Vialle, Shimoda, Hunter, RJ, Maximus
Sexton goes 1-1 at Pala. Jett 2-3. DF 3-2. Webb 4th. AP 5th. AC 6th. It will be a relatively boring race.
That's exactly what I think the biggest x factor will be for Jett. He hasn't had to consistently battle another guy that was on his level for a title since 2021 against J Coop. Not that I don't think he's talented and fit enough to have a race-winning pace (he will), but I do think he will get flustered a couple rounds in when Sexton and Ferrandis find their flow.
It seemed like whenever Mcadoo raced Jett hard, Jett would get visibly frustrated and start riding abnormally on edge. If Mcadoo can push him mentally, I can't help but think Sexton and Ferrandis are gonna give him headaches.
Can I change my pick? The kid is just special.
He doesn't even look like his trying he just hops around the track
Jett is at a different level...already.
Interesting prediction…
looks like the later
Maybe in Moto 1. But Moto 2, Jett was under pressure the whole race and still held it together.
yep he killed it! should be an interesting summer
Pit Row
Basically what I expected. Even though I had Jett for the win, I was cheering for Sexton big time that 2nd moto to apply the heat.
I think all of us want a great series but Jett is essentially Stewart of yesteryear. James all but said it during the broadcast.
I only wish Tomac was out there to make it a 3 way battle. The other guys have no chance.
Eye test checked out all his 250 career, checked out during MXdN, no surprises he was never going to have a "learning year" he had rode above his age this whole time.
true, but sure as heck wasnt the former i.e. "Jett cracks when he’s not clearly better than his competitors. Once he gets a little rattled with ferrandis and sexton on his back wheel or seeing them pull away a bit he will start making odd mistakes"
