Only when i had it done by FCR...
Can someone recommend me a tuner who knows supermoto suspension in WA, or OR?
The right springs for your weight and proper sag can satisfy the majority of riders.
Without a doubt if you’re planning on a revalve / respiring , be brutally honest about your ability and speed.
If you only ride the track once a year , a motocrosser you ain’t.
If you’re mid pack c speed, a scrubbing, trophy girl kisser you ain’t, and your suspension tuner needs to know.
Personally before I did my own, I had a horrible experience with fcr, just couldn’t get it even close.
A decent experience with pc, and once even got charged when the guy didn’t even open the forks.
Good luck on your shocking endeavors.

I Hate to say this but 99% of the riders out there really have no idea what their suspension is actually doing. Most riders just say its kicking but can not say how or even when it is kicking. Compression can kick, rebound can kick spring can kick. Riders have to feel how their suspension is actually reacting.
A Good local suspension shops suspension man can usually watch a rider out on the track and make clicker adjustments from the base revalve settings to make it even better for each individuals riding.
Badder Mannah was the 1st rider that I dealt with that could ride and give set up advice on how his suspension was set up.
Absolutely have had a great experience with custom valved suspension. Was previously fortunate enough to have ENZO do mine back in 2000 or so when I was racing 125s. Loved it. Plush and compliant.
So much of it has to do with the tuner and their ability to interpret what you want out of your suspension. I had a set done by a very reputable company and wasn't impressed. It didn't do what I was hoping for with the bike, but at the same time I wasn't willing to send it back and have more down time.
On my kids bike, we tried Factory Connection and it made a huge difference for him. His confidence immediately shot up on the bike, it was noticeable. I just got him a 23 FC250 a few weeks ago and he won't attempt some of the things on it that he will on his 125 simply because of the suspension. He came up short on a fairly large triple this past weekend and wouldn't try it again. He told me if we had brought his 125 he would go for it because the suspension is so much better.
Take that for what it's worth, he's a 15 year old C class rider. But he's honest with me with what he can and can't feel on the bike. I've stressed that to him over and over that if I make a change and he can't tell, it's perfectly fine rather than telling me what he thinks I want to hear.
That said, we will be getting the suspension done for him on the 250 very soon.
Mine used to come back worse than stock. Mismatched shims, very soft valving etc. I’ve used a couple tuners that were great though
Yeah man, trying to stay sane LOL
I come on vital to read the arguments, brightens my day
