Chase will always know they scratched out Eli's name to paste his onto it at the last minute.

Hard earned, well deserved, gotta be in it to win it. Congratulations, Chase!

Congrats to Chase!  He's a true champion and just an all around great young man.  He knew on the podium he just won the championship and could have handled that a lot differently than he did.  All class and a true champion.  Gotta be in it to win it and he stuck it out to take the championship.  Well deserved.

Gutted for Eli.

Dude just achieved what he’s worked his whole life to accomplish and he handled that interview with lots of maturity, remember he’s only 23.

I'm an Eli fan, but gotta give it up to Chase, he had a rough start to the season but never gave up.

Chase didn't look very thrilled on how he won it. If/When he wins another one, and beats his competition it will be different. Just like his 2nd 250 title.

Damn! Honda won all the Supercross titles this year and with Jett Lawrence moving up to the 450's, they're probably the favorites to win both 250 and 450 MX titles.   Powerhouse team

Well, Eli won't line up so he pretty much has it. It's just not official yet.

If he had enough points that he didn’t have to straight up beat chase next weekend and just had to qualify or something, I wonder if there is any possible crazy contraption they could have put on his leg so he could race. I couldn’t imagine riding not to mention racing SX without one ankle moving but my imagination was turning.

Screw that…Chase was the fastest supercross rider this year and had weird things happen to him.  Winner at the end I just that.  The winner.  No asterisk…just the Number 1 plate and saying anything else is stupid.  Super sorry for Eli….but your comment is stupid.

It’s 2023 not however far into the future your mind has gone to.

If you’d have told me at Indy that chase would be 450 champion, I’d have asked you what paint chips taste like.

jokes aside, Chase rode a hell of a season and I’m happy to see him win. Sorry to see Eli and Cooper go out like that, but it’s one of them racing things.

Chase deserves his title. He was the fastest all season. He's only 23, small mistakes under pressure are normal at this stage of his career but he is growing up fast. Outdoor season last year following the Tomac's train was the best thing that could happen for him as a process. Amazing rider, amazing athlete, amazing person. Congratz Chase and Jett as well.

What if Deegan raced 450 class this year instead... is it safe to say maybe he would have won the championship???

There’s no pretty much.  Chase can skip SLC and still has won the championship.

Congratulations Chase, you are the luckiest person in motocross. At the end of the race he couldn't even celebrate, understandable.

I am so sorry for Tomac and Webb, but so is it and we have to accept.

Kenny with an "old" bike doing the fastest lap! I wonder if he had more time for setting at the beginning of the season where he would be now.

This is motocross and we love it Smile

Nah, Brian's getting a bit up there in age!  Put down the piece pipe.  This is coming from a #238 fan.

So if Eli had a mechanical at round 1 and spent the rest of the season catching up but fell short at the final round would you still say that?
