I know people are busy...and traveling. But there is a difference when it comes to Webb...always has been.
I can’t say for sure Webb has a concussion, but a few people posting in this thread definitely have a concussion.

I’ve certainly hit my head a few times that I didn’t think were even that hard that left me spinning for a couple days. You can’t just watch someone’s head injury and know what went on.
Last year alone I had 2 bmx friends from when I was younger die from freak brain things. We all hit our heads and got knocked out plenty when we were younger. One friend died within 2 months of a random brain cancer diagnosis. Another bumped his head getting out of bed and died later that day. We’re all athletic in our mid 30’s.
I don’t think we have the science, rhyme, reason, or information to make any real educated statements on head injuries yet.

I don't know why you're getting down voted for your post but I agree, Tomac was taking a really good look back at Coop on the ground. You know that his mechanic was grabbing the pit board with the thought of "holy shit, I need to keep Eli in finish mode instead of win mode on this one".
Webb took a hard hit plain and simple. He’ll need a little time to heal up. But “hopefully” he gets fully healed with no lingering problems and can line up for the Nats 95-100%.
It looked to me like Eli was nodding like take that after being run high in the previous corner . This is of course before Adam nailed him .
I’m thinking Cooper was released with full knowledge that he’d be flying home.

The lack of news when it comes to Webb could be that he and his crew is not talking to the press. I have not noticed any lack of news when he has been hurt in the past. But I wasn't looking for it and could have missed it. They were saying that he might miss the Nationals too on Pulp last night.
I thought it was the fork lug that had hit his helmet. those photos posted make it look more like the tire. I missed the crash live, and tuned in a little late and was shocked to hear KTM's announcement. I was expecting the crash to look much worse. And was surprised to see how it did not look that bad at first.Compared to other hits riders have taken.
I've had a bunch of concussions myself. And they got easier to get, and I started to get sick to my stomach the more I got. Around 7 over 3 or 4 years. There is the chance that Webb could have had a crash during the week that he had hit his head in and then this on top of it would make it much worse. Just speculating with 0 reason to think that, that happened. Also like another person posted,rotational impacts are much worse than straight on impacts. Leat has some info on rotational impacts , I can not find it quick to quote from so I'm not going to say the numbers incase I am not remembering accurately . But they were saying it takes less rotational energy to be lethal than it takes to get a concussion from a direct hit. So that "whiplash" style hit is worse than it looks.
I'm glad that he checked out relatively OK. Meaning that he should recover 100%. Not that it is not a serious injury as is. I'm also glad that most people are taking concessions more seriously these days.
I've been on both ends of the "Is my bike OK" for an hour more than I care to mention.
