I know it's been spoken about a lot, but I'm curious to see what everyone's votes would be about Vialles first mx season in the US.

He's definitely capable of winning, but it depends how well he's able to put his lackluster Supercross season behind him. I feel like there's been a few top GP guys that have come over and underperformed outdoors because they didn't have the SX debut they wanted. Most notably, Arnaud Tonus and Thomas Covington.

I didn’t pick him for the title but who’s going to beat him? He’s a little older, wise, skilled, and seems to have it together. Maybe hunta I guess.

Win races but I don't see him win the title. Hunter has improved a lot since last year. And Cooper will be great. Not sure why people are counting him out. He literally sat out sx to prepare for this. Jumped into 450 for some races and had a bunch of top 5s

Oh Justin cooper I forgot. Yeah I think coopeR takes it. He looked like he’s been living off of vinegar and anger at mxdn and seems really focused.

If he comes into MX fully healthy, he’s my favorite to win it all.

I feel like this year will be a very good year for how many fast guys there are. Would be awesome to see someone like Peirce Brown or Max Vohland get a win this year.

Justin Cooper, Hunter Lawrence, Jeremy Martin all could realistically beat him. They might all be older than him too, I think?

I’m really excited to see Vialle this summer but in year 1, with the current crop, I ended up saying he doesn’t win an overall. Since my answer isn’t an option, I’ll say here that I think he may get 1 by the end of the summer. Would love it if he proves me wrong and is running up front consistently, of course. Last thing I want is for people to point at him and say MXGP is weak because look where he’s at year 1 in AMA.

Vialle is waaaay better than Tonus or Covington ever were.

I think he is totally capable of winning the title and what a great story it would be. I do think the championship will be ultra competitive though-can't wait!

His ability to handle the heat in year one will be the biggest question mark. He has the speed but I think between the lack of track knowledge and heat adaption, it’ll hamper his championship challenge…Hunta or J-Coop will take the title. Year two though, Vialle could be the favorite with the two listed above going 450 full time in 2024.

Isn’t he at bakers factory? I think he will find florida to be hotter than most races.

Has vialle performed worse with every sx race?

MX I expect him to have some ups and downs.

Get 2 overalls 4-5 moto wins. 3rd in the championship

I think he'll be a contender from the start to be honest.  Hunter, Cooper and Joe have an advantage with track familiarity, but Tom has the ability to adapt, and I don't think heat will be a problem since he is young and in shape.  Great he took the leap to race here and I look forward to seeing him at a national or two.

It’s great to have another talent like him in the class for outdoors. But imo if Hunter, jcoop, jmart, and shimoda are healthy, it’s hard to see him higher than the 3-5 range in his first season in the US

If you go to america  as world champion....then you don't go to ride top5 then you go to becomes champion...he doesn't have to becomes champion but has to participate for the championship......i dont think heat and no track knowledge is an excuse......

I Thought he started very hopeful in supercross but i really see any progress after that....yes it's new for him but i expected a little bit more from him

I think he'll finish 4th or 5th in points. Hunter, Cooper and Shimoda will be better than him but then after that he should be able to be in the mix.

I don't know about wins but i expect a 30-50% podium rate from him.

Also i'm kinda surprised by the hype from people. Have everyone forgot that everyone coming from the GPs need a season or two to get used to the tracks, format and the hot weather. Look at Roczen, Marvin and Ferrandis. To think that Vialle will be able to fight for a title in year one is in my opinion not correct and it's an expectation that would be super difficult to match.

Too many fast guys, too many anxious kids. Maybe some podiums, or a win or two.

If farres can become 6th in his first race...then vialle can just win....

And herlings also participated one time on someone else's bike and that also went pretty wel

Musquin and Roczen came over to one of the most stacked years of all time. Tomac was racing, pre wrist injury Bagget was racing, Barcia in his last 250 season and Wilson was amazing when Musquin came over plus when Roczen got here Musquin was already racing state side. Anderson was running around trying to find his groove as well. Roczen’s lack of training and heat caught him out as he was passed in the last few laps all the time. The 2012 250 MX season was one of the more stacked ones we ever had. I may be wrong but I don’t see Hunter, Coop and Shimoda as good as the top 3 from the 2012 season.

I get what your saying about learning the series but I don’t think we can use when Roczen and Marv came over as a bench mark.

He will still have to acclimate to it. You know as well as anyone here, race stress is a lot harder on the body than practice.

I think this is between Hunter and J-Coop for champ.  But Shimoda and Vialle are going to keep it interesting with moto and overall wins.  I think RJ will win a race, maybe Red Bud, he's won 2 of the last 3 I think.

Could be a 4 way cage match....  We can only hope!!!

Not sure about wins or podiums but he's probably gonna get the lion's share of holeshots!

He is going to have to get used to the smooth tracks compared to the rough and rutted GP's.

I'm joking!  But I think we missed a preview of what he is capable of when he crashed out of Atlanta SX.  That is a track he should have really performed well on.  I picked him to win the championship in the poll but it slipped my mind that Justin Cooper is in for the nationals.  I also have hopes that Martin has something left in the tank.

Roczen was already on fire his first season. He just had to deal with a charging Tomac and the many sightings of El Chupacabra that year.

Ferrandis was never expected to set the world on fire as he was severely overshadowed by Herlings (who wasn’t).

Vialle has been so much better than anyone in MX2 the past 3 years (except for Geerts in raw speed). There’s no reason to think he won’t be on Shimoda/Hunter/Cooper level.

He was a holeshot king in mxgp, can he and the KTM produce the same magic in AMA 250? He was never known for catching up from bad starts really. If he holeshots he will be a threat👍

I could see a first moto win and then fade in the 2nd moto. Seems to happen often with the euro riders over here.

Josh Gilbert came over last year and performed pretty well in his races. Guillem farres the same. Herlings, Desalle, Simpson. Sure, some of them were just one race. But Vialle has been riding with bakers guys for some time now, and is a 2x world champ at 22. I think he will be fine. Is he at a slight disadvantage, sure. But he’s gonna be fine.
