John seems like quite the typical type-A drunk on authority douche.
“This should clear some things up” posts always make it much worse lol
What I’ve gathered is security guy acts “aggressively” and Bobby is a tool. Sounds like the end of the story and time to move on.
This feels like the making of a Christopher Guest mockumentary. "I'm just making people's dreams come true!" lol

that john guy saying he's not good enough to be on the right side of the pits sounds like projection. guys a security guard (nothing wrong with that) and it eats at him.
poor guy. couldnt cut it in the force.
Bobby should put it in a Main before he thinks he can throw his weight around with Feld.
Sorry to be a dick but the show wouldn't miss a beat if he stopped showing up.
He made $15,000 the last 2 rounds letting people rev his bike? I find that hard to believe.
6:37 at MetLife SX
all the privateers will be firing up and reving their bikes
That's a lot of donuts Bro.
“Ahem”
At least he’s making money to do his job instead of losing money
😳
Sounds like he was making money until Little Papa Pump showed up.
If you listen to the racers it's a culture that goes deeper than just one cretin. In my experience the man has a boss that at the very least looks the other way.
Especially when it starts with the graphic "This is My Truth". Sorry dude, there's only the truth, no such thing as "my truth" (that's called an opinion).
Hahahaha! That's truth.
Soap Opera "Days of our lives"
Is that when the LCQ starts?
Pit Row
That sounds like a good gig if it's true. I did the math out of curiosity.
15,000 divided by 2 nights = 7,500
So $7,500.00 per night. At $20.00 a whack that's 375 throttle twisters. At $10.00 a whack the number of customers needed doubles to 750. If he got $50.00 a whack he'd still need 150 customers.
Time wise how long are the pits usually open ? 4 hours plus or minus ? Lets say he was there all day and the public had access to him for 8 hours. That's still $937.50 per hour. That works out to $15.62 per minute, for 8 hours straight. Ok lets do some figuring.....click click click .... whiiirr... keypad noises, carry the 7 divide by number of customers needed vs time available ... click click click......and add the totals.... and..... My calculations say..... no fucking way
.
Freakin' A for effort though it was a great idea you gotta admit

I'm not buying 15K in 2 nights but I bet he did ok.
If you can't sell merch then sell outrage. You can make a lot of money claiming to be "cancelled" these days.
Is he letting people rev his actual race bike?
That's what gets me.
Who in the hell would pay money to go blip the throttle on someone's bike ??
Oh well, like they say...
A fool and his money, are soon parted.
The prices at the concession stands are proof of that.
Imagine if the bike blew up when someone was revving it, now that would be great
Imagine if one of the winners of a race bikes blew up while they were doing their celebration burnout right next to the fans? I mean, there are all kind of scenarios to where you could "endanger" spectators in this sport but here again, let's turn a dangerous sport to begin with into something like f'n golf or tennis!
Yes, which seems stupid. I get he is trying to make some extra money BUT if he screws up his engine that will cost more money than he can make plus he won't be able to race and I am sure his sponsors would not be happy about that.
That's not what he's implying.
I'm still intrigued by how many people in these threads think an engine, that someone has deemed up together enough to ride a top level supercross event on, is gonna blow up at an ECU-governed RPM with no load on it.
I saw the sign then a little later the bike was there with a couple guys standing by it. I went by them twice and they were stand alone trying to drum up business but I never saw anyone actually go over to them and rev the bike.. I mean it would have to be someone that never rides or has some kid that wants to do it and dad likes throwing away money or wants to donate to the guy. I would personally just give him the $20 and save the wear on his engine. Seemed cheezy to me but hey if it works more power to him for at least trying.
I would like to take a whack at answering the original question that was asked if I may.
“Where did the original thread go?”
My guess: Someone at FELD called ML or someone at Vital and said something about the thread painting FELD in a negative manner and the good little obedient “journalist” of our great sport said they would get it handled and removed it so Muey or someone high up at FELD feelings wouldn’t get hurt. What an absolute joke.
