Blair and RC not doing their job

The bare bones setup of the 2 Stroke race had better production and commentary.

They are doing a horrible job, but it's not just them and not all their fault. The whole production sucks. I hate when people say to just stop bitchin and roll over and accept the garbage they are giving us. 

This thread makes me remember how many unhappy tards there are in this world.  

I was thinking the same thing.  What’s crazy is when you watch the night show not one person except JT has any insightful meaningful information. I’m no expert but has this broadcast crew said anything that you didn’t already know? 

I’m not an RC hater. I think he is ok. Better than HeartRate Fro. But when you go back and watch old races with David Bailey’s commentary, it really makes the crew today look shitty

Blair was pretty embarrassing with his Jett boner last night. I’m pretty sure the viagra commercials say to call a doctor for erections lasting longer than 3 hours

I was surprised he wasn’t talking about Jett during the last 450 race 

It sounded like he wants to date him

I’m happy they at least cover the sport for us but I swear after watching the mxgp package it’s  hard to watch including Nationals!! From the camera angles, the battles going on to even the drone shots and commentary, they are on a whole different level!!

Last night they kept trying to make a story or talk about other things. just talk about the racing.  the racing is the story. Also I do not understand how no one tells Will to keep it quick and not a story on feelings they told you during the week. Bike set up, health, different starting gate etc. in and out. 🤦‍♂️ disclaimer- the track was follow the leader and not a ton of passing or battles really. That makes it harder on the booth of course.

Just listened to Weege and Langston announce the outdoors. They actually announced the race. No conversation about hitting their marks or how much hard work they put in during the week or any other back story. 

RC needs to go. So many years but havent got any better just saying same lines every weekend like everyone watching are stupid and not giving any info about race. 

Yep.  He rarely forms complete sentences, offers little if any actual analysis, and just repeats the same thing over and over again.  I love his stories from racing, but he can only bring up stuff from 15 years ago so often.  Here is a great example of the "quality" he holds himself to.  The analyst of our sport at the highest level......

Guess I’m in the minority here, but I love the broadcast. Ricky and Blair in the booth with JT and Will trackside is perfect, but the absolute best was Daytona where they also threw Weege and Stew in the booth. That was incredible. They bring the excitement as needed and call what’s necessary, while I just keep an eye on timing and scoring for better details. The broadcast has been the best this year and I just don’t really understand the complaints. Do you all just want some monotone announcing reading lap times and segment times out the whole time? Sounds like a drag. I can do that on my own. 
Im amped while watching the race, and they bring that same excitement I have, to the booth. 
IMO, Blair and Ricky in the booth, JT and Will trackside. In a perfect world, the Daytona broadcast lineup.

I liked RC as a racer but can't stand him as a commentator.  All I know is when Tomac finally retires and Ricky has to pull his head out of Eli's ass that he can get all the stink off. RC makes no bones about the lovefest he has with Eli and the dislike he has for Webb. I'll take Fro over the babbling Ricky any day.

I keep seeing people say RC doesn't like Webb. I don't think that is the case at all. RC has stated on multiple occasions that out of all the current guys he sees Webb as most similar to him. 

I think RC is hard on Webb because he expects more dominance out of him. He wants Webb to "pull the trigger" like RC would to take the championship by the horns and it isn't happening.

IE- RC hates losing and he is seeing himself out there, losing. I'm not saying that he should be doing this. He absolutely should distance himself regardless of how he feels or identifies with Webb.

It is mind boggling that they are seemingly incapable of just calling the race. I just can't understand it. I don't know who's fault it is, though somebody in charge is pushing these shitty story lines, interviews mid race, etc. It's as if they believe the races themselves are too boring and they must add all this ridiculous filler, when exactly the opposite is true. 

I think RC is great when he doesn’t have to be the main color commentator and can chime in with insight whenever he wants. When he was in the booth with Ralph and Fro, he was great. Fro did the heavy lifting and RC could give his opinions or race analysis whenever he wanted. Now, when it’s all him, we have seen multiple times where the play by play announcer attempts to throw him a bone to analyze something and it’s just dead air. Or he struggles through it being put on the spot. He’s the GOAT, but being the sole color commentator is not for him.

Well if he could just hit his marks and log laps, sit back take notes, and make the adjustments, going inside, outside he'll look like he isn't even trying...... its the exact same thing every broadcast. Then Will will chime in and name drop who she talked with this week and give us her warm and fuzzy story (her voice is like nails on a chalk board).

Please Feld... Try something different, PLEASE !

Every fucking time I hear "Will?", it is just instant intense cringe. It's so bad that just hearing her name now triggers something subconsciously and I tune her out and don't hear a word she says. The whole broadcast is getting like that. I wish I could turn them all off and just hear the bikes. We are at rock bottom on the production and nothing changes. Heads don't roll in the bro club. 

I will admit.... RC is starting to grate on me during the broadcast.         Plus, I really think he hates Webb, it comes across in everything  he says about him.  

I've gotten where I just try to not listen to the announcing...and mute when they pass to Screeetch.     I wish there was selective volume.   Turn announcers down, bike/stadium sounds up. 

A few weeks ago when they had sound issues at the start of the broadcast all you could hear was the Stadium announcer, can we hire him?
