Very good night of SX.  Great battles in the 450’s.

Said the same but got blasted.

I think the fans think the last two weeks of racing should all be the same.

That cannot happen. Great racing this SX series.

Agree, the rhythms and whoops looked normal enough for SX. There are folks here who know way more than me about the intricacies of a SX track and why the passing seemed stymied tonight. Maybe they’ll chime in?

Barcia still hitting the race gas hard before these podium interviews. Just a steady stream of words coming at you super fast.

I don't think he even raced Atlanta, but Anderson won with a bum knee Tomac finishing second. Webb won the third round of ATL in 2021 after two supbar performances in the other rounds, Tomac just is typically better at the high-speed tracks than Webb which is why I think he'll have an advantage.

Chase's start recovery that 3rd moto was insane. From being pushed wide in turn 1 and basically mid-pack, to passing AP for 3rd, in *one* lap. I had to go back and watch the start again to see how he did it. Was gnarly. Did anyone else see that?

Eli with a masterclass triple crown performance. I think that was a big blow to Webb. But I know he'll come back fighting. And although there wasn't much passing, seeing so many riders battling so closely was great. Love how strong Barcia is coming on. Hurt seeing Ando go down though, hate to see it. Hope he's ok

Tomac does look locked in like he was before the big get off a few weeks ago.  All these years only Roczen and Dungey (SX) were ever the equal to Tomac’s speed.   -edit- And Sexton last year in the Nationals.

Andersen won Atlanta Last year, Tomac 2nd, Sexton 3rd, Webb 4th, I think Atlanta was the race Tomac jacked his knee and Andersen went on a winning streak after

I had a great time today. First time ever being at State Farm Stadium. Only downside is I think the carbon monoxide got to me a bit. My eyes are very red, glossy, and super irritated.

It was brutal.  I had to get security to allow me to go out and grab my rescue inhaler from my truck because I was having a hard time breathing due to asthma.  My wife's eyes and mine are the same, super red.

That was a great race. Track was so sketchy.

So, as fast as Chase is and has been all season, he has only won 2 races and 1 of those was a huge gift from AP7. Let that sink in. The man is fast no doubt, but I wonder what they are going to do to translate that into actual wins?

Tomac passed James Stewart last night. Wow. Amazing. I believe he is the all-time leader in straight 450 4-stroke races is he not? Anyone have a stat with just all-time 450 wins filtered? Given the inherent parody of the 450 class (I think the bike now makes it’s easier for everyone and consequently harder to be dominant like RJ, McGrath, RC, JS), how hard will it be to catch Eli on that stat? Just curious of what others think?

And I can’t believe FELD has hyped the battle for ERA supremacy AT ALL! Eli and Coop are both 2 time champs. They are battling over the 3rd and tie breaking championship. Whoever wins this will change their legacy in HUGE ways and be tagged the best in this era. Should Coop Win this championship he would have that forever over Eli. Should Eli win the championship and land 2nd on all time win list the this era is unarguably his. I haven’t heard one mention of this angle.

Already excited for Atlanta!

Happy Easter, Vital MX family!

Tomac
Roczen
Webb

A few fast guys, going very fast in single file. Yes crazy speed, yes Tomac is awesome. The race it self was boring for me to watch. Props to Barcia too.

I think my favorite moment of the night was when Webb tried to make an aggressive pass on El Hombre and Jason was just like, “nope” and held his line. They hit pretty hard but both stayed up. Good racing.

Maybe Chase's smartest race this year. Could be a turning point for him? You can't always try to go as fast as you can go.

What is it with the Honda's in the whoops? It looked so easy for them! Or was it simply just Chase and Jett making it look so???

Webb has nothing on Tomacs Career. Webb can barely make the podium in MX and Tomac owns it. Theres nothing Webb can do to have a better career than Tomac.
