The split actually seems to be working pretty well. I'm seeing guys using both lanes depending on how you want to set up the corner at the end. 

I think the whole austrian bike skepticism is slightly overexaggerated but I've really grown to love a stable chassis since owning my GasGas.. The Yamaha might not be as sharp but dang at least it wont cut you.
