Has anybody ever heard of/ridden this track next to the Reagan library in Simi Valley, CA? It clearly seems to be on someone’s property but I’m curious about the details of this track. It looks like a full blown track that’s been there for years. It’s also pretty close to the Library which I’m surprised about.

I'm sure I will get lit up for this, but seems like a pretty decent price for that home on 23 acres so close to LA.
Not too bad off a price. It is Ventura county which usually is cheaper.
So definitely private property.

That’s looks epic! I would make sure neighbors are not already in the process of shutting the track use down… seems unlikely it would survive…
My internet creeping abilities came up with a guy with the last name Pease. He works in the aviation/aerospace industry.
It must just be his private track... Lucky!
Looks like the next door property has a track too.
Dude has his own soccer field!
Some pictures of it last year from the library:
My I pad must be broken.
Fixed
The lower house is an industry guy, owns a company.
The upper one is a friend of his whose kids ride. If it wasn’t a private street, I’d say his name. I know one other guy who post here that knows and he can say it.
No famous riders.
Yeah, I don't want to blow out who owns the smaller of the two but everyone has heard his name.
Most of you probably know about the 1987 USA MXDN team meeting President Reagan. I'd never seen anything more than photos of that meeting, however I just discovered that there's actually video of the entire interaction posted on the Reagan Library Youtube page.

No kidding. Where I live in Montana, that would be around 15-20 million all day.
Money not an object I'd rather have this place which is a 1/3rd of mile from the places mentioned above.

I’ve been to that place before, wow, that place is beautiful.
Enjoy the ride?

Used to be 2 more tracks very close to there. Rode one that could partially be seen from the 23 freeway. Alessi's practiced there from time to time as well (they were on 80s). Did that for a couple years, until it got shut down.
Here's a funny story... Anyone remember JJ Smooth? He and a buddy showed up, cut the locks the gate and started riding the track one day. The property owner and my pops went over to ask him to leave and he gave them the "Do you know who I am?" act. Which, even as a 14 year old I thought was hilarious because I read every MX mag, watched every video, every race, etc and knew he was barely a blip.
Crazy property!! Would love to have it!
I rode that track once and it was fun back in 2010 or so.
JJSMOOTH here! Socalmx70 I don’t remember it going down exactly like that but hey we were just looking for a place to ride! At least I made you laugh! Yeah maybe was just a blip but the blip was cool while it lasted!
Haha... Well my brother and I had every cool magazine shot taped to our walls and I'm pretty sure your fro nacnac was up there somewhere.
As as far as breaking into private property... Long time ago obviously, and it just stuck out to me along with all the good times we had there as kids.
Those tracks were on the property I posted the Zillow link to.
Nah the one I rode is all trees now. The 2nd one back then was close to Tierra Rejada. You could say historically there have now been at least 4 tracks built in this area.
Ah, yeah the property I mentioned used to have an outdoor and SX track way back in the day. Still has the remnants of the SX track.
There was a track a few miles down the way from there on the side of a hill. Wasn’t a very big track but There was no houses or business’ nearby therefore I was always tempted to go spin a few laps on it. Does anybody know who that track belonged to???
Are you talking about the one down the 118, I think it where it was? Honda used it to test a few times and had the uphill/downhill coming out of the trees?
The property in the Zillow app our BMX friends bought in 2004 I think. It was 250 acres for around 4 million if I remember correctly. Right after buying it he had the guy that built the Gorman track come build one on the side hill down the hill from the police station. Later on he had a BMX track built for his son to train on. We rode there many times, even burned some hot laps on the horse track. The owner of the property has a business in San Fernando that they do very well with.
Yeah I agree had some great times and great memories riding over there. Of course wouldn’t cut a lock now or ride on private property but hell we were young and did stupid shit. Thank god we never got in any real trouble! Miss the good ole days and being young!!
