Daniel Blair & KTM

Yes Daniel Blair is a good Track analyst but Now he’s Amateur ktm Manager also, how does he do that when he has 2 other jobs , KTM need to step up there amateur program and invest in Talent, maybe Blair quits he’s TV gig and entrepreneur and move to SoCal.
Any advice

Daniel just moved from NorCal to South Carolina last year.

KTM sought him out and likes his position in the sport with his announcing and connection to the pro side of the sport. TV gig is mostly weekend only and SX only, with some mid-week prep, KTM is his day job. He's been making huge changes to the KTM/Husky/GasGas programs...

I also think Daniel could be a good asset, I just don’t see how he has the time to be at KTM headquarters 5 days a week , then go to all the big amateur races as he will be commentating, but if double dipping works then go for it.

If only PC/Kawi would have hired him then their future would be much brighter.

You should take this up with KTM HR, they probably don't know he's double dipping.

If you knew the Blair brother you would understand. Both are dedicated, hard working and relentless when it comes to success at things they want. He’s earned every inch he’s gained. He’s fantastic for the job!

I thought it was funny how he pronounced Julien Beaumer’s name wrong on a futures broadcast then had him signed to KTM the next week. Savage

I don’t think you get how any of this works.

I had a chance to talk with Dan and watch his interaction with the KTM Am team when I was announcing at Freestone a few weeks back.

He's adding exactly what they want him to add to the program from the looks of it.

Some jobs don't require you to "clock in... clock off".

It's 2023. Most jobs don't require you to be at the office 5 days a week.

I don’t think an amateur manager needs to be at the office, ever.

Cole Gress built arguably the best amateur team in history and set up Decoster pretty well with a continuous feed of riders, and never went to the corporate office. Some big wigs at Suzuki didn’t even know who he was. He was too busy helping build kids that he saw potential in, and showing them what they need to do.

I see Danial being that type of guy because he understands the sport.

A man that doesnt have anything going on themselves.... Thats who. This place is filled with crabs yanking others back into the bucket. haha.

Good on DB. I didnt like him back in the Flat brim/black socks emo days. (I mean did anyone?) ... but now that he is a father he seemed to be laser focused on making things happen for his family.

If DB wants to turn things around he needs to take a greater interest of some blue collar raised kids.
