Sexton appreciation thread.

So much creativity on every on of his crash.

Yesterday Sexton shows us all of his talent once again, crashing where no one else think of crash, in a beautiful manner.

Seriously though, that was obvious he was going to crash, but he surprise us with the spot he chose.

It's time he cure those brain fart, or the brain won't work for long after those hit.

You remind me of the obese mini dad I see yelling at his kid to do some jump on the track... clearly the fat fuck has never hit a motocross jump in his life but he expect his kid to do it.

If you've ever ridden deep ruts, especially on jump faces, you'd have been on the edge of your seat last night watching those guys do what they do. I can't begin to imagine how hard and scary that track was to ride.

& vital loses their mind when Eli is having an off ride. Look at the track! Looked BRUTAL! I’m sure Eli could’ve gone faster, but a mistake like chase had wouldn’t have helped. Chase is still in a decent spot points wise. I believe he will figure it out sooner than later.

Based on your post I am not sure you are qualified to discuss anything related to geniuses

I do like Tomac, but I really like his off days, because it's a quasi rebalancing of the season.

Again sexton lives up to the expectation Cool

Ahaha this one wasn't as beautiful as the other but we can't deny there is  creativity in doing an otb in a 90° turn.

Epic I love it when he runs it front.

He was leading last night and I was cheering for Eli to get to 2nd because Sexton was pulling too big of a gap. My 11yr old son says He’ll probably “Sexton” himself.  Then we heard the crowd going crazy in the background…

It wasn’t a brain fart, he was trying to open up the turn to carry more speed into the rhythm section and the front/track wouldn’t take it.  Literally every one of his crashes this year are him over riding the bike/track.

It’s been his and Kens complaints on that bike for two years, they can’t get the front of the bike to plant they way they want. Once he figures out how to stay within the realms of the bike/track, he won’t lose to many races.

As far as him being smart/dumb, he smart enough to get that bike to where it’s at, something Ken couldn’t do.

Yeah, totally. He overrides the track all day and loses the front, that's why he can never get a good qualifying time or even win a heat race....wait....

He's riding the same bike all day. It's a mental error that manifests as a physical error.

When he was out front, and we all heard the crowd...I bet most people who've been paying attention this year thought oh crap, that's probably Sexton going down and I'd bet he lost the front end.

And the survey says.....number one answer.

Last night he changed lines, he went wider, opening up the turn , there was no rut and pushed the front.

But hey, I don’t know shit.

The brain fart IS him changing lines when the lines he was using put him in the lead and pulling away. Again, I don't think anyone else crashed in that corner.

I'm a fan of the kid, when he gets that last 5% figured out, he'll be "unbeatable" I think.

I'm not actually disagreeing with you on what's happening, he is overriding the track and bike, BUT he doesn't do that when it's qualifying or super early in the main. I can't remember who said it or what podcast it was on, but it's like he doesn't recognize how much the track is changing and doesn't make the adjustments.

That feels like it's true, but at the same time it's a wild take because he was SO good last year on super rough outdoor tracks.

Sorry, that’s not a brain fart, that’s him trying to push away from Tomac.

He’s not doing it during the day because the track is still in pretty decent shape and his lines are holding. I would agree, he needs to see the track changing.

There is nothing you can say to change my mind, Chase is now renamed Mr Magoo.

In memory no other rider in MX history has crashed out as much whist leading, or chasing the leader.

Don't bother flaming me, or retorting, my mind is set.

Hi, your post contradicts it's self.

It is his fault because he pushes past the level of adhesion, he didn't crash the laps before!

Right, but it’s not a brain fart, he’s fully aware of what he’s trying to do.
