The guy got hundreds of dollars worth of free tickets and swag. I really wish he would come back on here and let us know what happened so I can avoid this pitfall in the future.
Yeah, I assume he keeps getting all the reply notices we all do. Was it online, in person, how does he know he was scammed/tickets fake. I can see in this digital age of paperless tickets of someone not transferring or something. But since the races don’t ever really sell out except maybe A1, there really is no reason to not buy direct.
Maybe not because I do not get the notices.
I don't , nor have I ever received notices from replies in any thread , ever. I think it must be an option. I'll leave mine turned off.

Wow, I took it all as a bit of tongue in cheek. Are people really offended (ML included) by the scammer jokes? I don't think anyone actually believed this guy was a scammer himself.
You've been around long enough to know better than that man. I guarantee some of those fools actually think this guy posted a lie just to get free tickets. That's the world we live in now.
It would be nice to learn more about the ordeal. How and who, what to look out for. Thanks.
Both Classy and Heart warming ML/ Feld 😎
This made my day, this is 100% why I love it here. God bless ML, so cool.
How was he scammed? Comes on here to say he got scammed then gets tickets and crickets. I don't buy into the he doesn't post on here much BS either. If you have time to scum some tickets at least make a half ass attempt at warning others. Until the OP posts why he got scammed then my views won't change.
I went full creepster mode and stalked his profile. He’s been active on here since this was posted.
OP made multiple posts about trying to scam the stadium by buying cheap seats but sitting in better seats that are empty… then got scammed. I guess scams are fine as long as they aren’t at his expense.
Pretty low comment. No way I would have gave the guy tickets after that.
You must not go to supercross often. That happens all the time ant every race and it’s no big deal as long as you’re not in someone else’s seats.
Better seats are matter of opinion. I prefer nosebleeds to see the whole track at once. Some people prefer sitting track level to stare at one jump the entire race.
I go to at least one round every year- usually two. I prefer to be closer to the track, in the lower level.. and I spend the money to do so. OPs comment was “I’d hate to buy cheap seats and actually have to sit in them” and complained about stadiums that check tickets before allowing you into a section.
If you’re going to play that game, know the risks and know you may have to sit in the seats you paid for. Don’t act like you’re somehow entitled to sit in more expensive seats that you didn’t pay for.
Careful, voicing opinions like that might get deleted because two wrongs do make a right.
Pit Row
You must of never lived in an apartment where people park in your spot when you come home from work. Using your logic its no big deal that you're using my parking spot I pay for while im out since I can just come get you to tell you to move from it.
Or you could just pay for a better parking spot to begin with 🤷♂️
We’re talking supercross seating, Not apartments. Apparently you didn’t read what I wrote. As I said before, it’s no big deal as long as you’re not in someone else’s seat that’s been paid for. Again, it happens at every race. If someone’s in your seats, ask them to move. There’s bigger things to worry about than wondering what seats someone paid for. It happened to me twice this year, I’ve asked them to move and they did. No big deal. The Karen’s have invaded supercross…..whining on vital isn’t going to change the average ticket buying supercross fan. Go protest at the next race and make your concerns known
Call me old fashioned but sit where you bought your seats. Simple as that. Can I kick someone out of my seats if they’re in them, absolutely. Should I have to? Nope. This isn’t about being a Karen to me, it’s about doing what you’re supposed to do, which is sit your ass in the seats on your ticket you bought. This shit is why I despise going to events.
Will CDA331eventually be posting back here saying how things went Saturday night. Did he go? If so, how were the seats and any highlights to share with others.
Like others, I'd also really like to know the scam method used so that maybe we could all learn what we should avoid in getting scammed ourselves.
I have no doubt that's what I'd be doing if I were in his shoes.
I some what followed this thread. It would be cool hearing from the OP in the experience him and his family had at the SX. Did they meet ML , or go into the pits to meet some riders , overall have a good time? Seems strange , not one peep. Not a thank you or anything?
Vital: facts don't matter just the opportunity to be holier than thou.
This is all taken out of context. You have literally quoting something that didn't exist. Let me try to help you.
OP wrote: "Id rather not buy the cheap seats". "hate and "actually sit in them" weren't part of the statement.
What the OP was saying is that he would prefer not to buy tickets FOR A SECOND TIME that were in the cheap seats, which I would chalk up to not having the money to pay for the expensive ones FOR A SECOND TIME due to scammers. I empathize with that deeply, and apparently so does Feld.
There is probably some opportunity for a stadium to monetize 'dynamic seats' because as C.worthy points out, this is normal practice at the races. IMO, it actually makes them way less boring.
Then why did he make the comment about people checking your tickets?
Saw two instances where people took another guys spot at Daytona. The one I think was a mistake, he actually had seats closer to the track. The other guy and his son just wanted to get closer and their seats weren't even close to where they sat when the dude kicked him out.
I'm not gonna take the time to go find it but OP has 100% posted several times wondering if he could get away with buying cheaper tickets and then moving to better seats.
For reference. Seattle Mudder thread.
Sorry that I’m not covering and memorizing multiple threads. I figured ain’t nobody got time for that.
But again vital delivers and proves me wrong.
Continue with the holier than thou. Not sure who, but maybe, maybe someone out there appreciates it.
I’m going to unsubscribe from notifications, so don’t invest any more time in trying to prove how right you are because I don’t really care. 🙂
