Curious about the scam as well. In this day and age, unless you gave someone cash I don't see how people scam you for tickets. Everything is protected, from paypal, to credit cards, banks etc. Well, I guess if you used venmo or paid something as friends and family it would not be. But regardless, hope it all works out and I hope people don't start posting this every week thinking they will get a handout.
My 25 year old kid bought fake concert tickets off a guy on craigslist a couple years ago. Saw the add on CL, met the guy in Home Depot parking lot, paid cash for very real looking tickets that were fake. Didn't find out they were fake until they tried to scan them at the concert gate.
Of course, never let me know what he was doing until after the fact.
So this thread is a nice story with a happy result but curious as to why the OP hasn’t responded with more details so his fellow moto friends could avoid the same thing? Or to publicly thank the person that got him free tickets? Not knocking the dude but it’s been a while since this thread was created?
Or mayb the dude claimed he got scammed to get free tickets & the dude who has actually now been scammed is ML 🤦🏻♂️

As far as moving seats I used to go to Detroit Red Wings games at Joe Louis Arena and buy Standing Room Only seats. Usually there would be no shows and if you got in good with the ushers, they would help you find a good seat. Buy a 20 buck ticket to stand with the rest of the bums and end up on the glass with the people who are just there to be seen.
Second quick story if you''ll indulge me. My dad used to take us to the Silverdome Supercross and the upper deck would always be closed. I remember sitting in our seats watching my dad get chased by security guards in the 3rd deck. Our whole section was cheering them on.
